Chapter 1105 of ‘One Piece’ is titled “The Height of Folly.” In this chapter, Saturn orders the Buster Call to destroy Egghead.

Vegapunk tries to plead with Saturn, begging him to keep Egghead safe in exchange for his life. However, Saturn no longer trusts Vegapunk to hide secret weapons on the island. All the Marines return to their ships while Kizaru and Saturn remain on Egghead.

Bonney and Kuma are pinned down by the Pacifista, and the others are trapped by Kizaru and the Marines. Hope seems dull as Egghead meets its end.

The final battle of Egghead has begun with Saturn calling the Buster Call on the entire island. Vegapunk can only watch as all his inventions are destroyed in front of his eyes. However, Luffy and the Straw Hats still have a mission to complete.

I. Gear 5 Luffy vs Saturn

Luffy was shown to be fully recovered after eating all the food through Saturn’s machine. However, Luffy must fight one of the World Elders and save his friends. Saturn’s paralysis power will be a massive advantage against Luffy, making it difficult for him to fight properly. 

The fight will likely be a strategic battle as Luffy must discover the weak point for Saturn’s ability. Moreover, Saturn could also reveal his proper battle form in the next chapter. Given Saturn’s spider legs, he could have more exotic abilities, such as invisible webs or poisonous attacks.

II. Mystery Party Arrives

The end of the chapter announces a mystery party coming to Egghead. The most likely possibility is the Grand Fleet. At the end of Dressrosa, Oda had written that the Grand Fleet members would one day cause a massive incident. 

The battle on Egghead would be the perfect opportunity for the Grand Fleet crew to shine. The Blackbeard pirates could also be the mystery party as they were near the island. Shanks and his crew are also near Egghead, as they had just left Elbaf not too long ago. Regardless of who it is, the mystery crew will change the tides of this battle.

4. Chapter 1105 Recap 

The Marines sprint to their vessels before the entire island is bombed, desperate to survive the wrath of Saturn. Doll tells Saturn and Kizaru to return to the ship, but Saturn refuses. Kizaru confidently tells Doll to leave without them. Vegapunk is confused about Saturn’s intentions with bombing the island instead of killing him.

Vegapunk says that Egghead has the most cutting-edge research in all scientific fields. Once Saturn destroys the island, technology will be set back by a hundred years. Saturn says that Vegapunk could be hiding something that could hinder the World Government and that no more advancements are needed.

Saturn is reminded of a ship that left the island the previous day, which he ordered to be destroyed. Vegapunk is furious at Saturn for killing innocent people, and Saturn shouts back. Saturn says all of his decisions were made because of Vegapunk’s greed.

Sanji tells Franky and Atlas to run to the Vacuum Rocket while Vegapunk talks with Saturn. Bonney asks Sanji about Vegapunk, and Sanji says he won’t abandon him. Sanji contacts Nami, who says they reached the back entrance. Nami asks if Luffy is with Sanji, but Sanji has lost sight of him.

Lilith praises Brook for coming up with an idea for getting the ship to the back entrance. Brook had frozen the clouds and made the ship slide through it. However, neither knows how to stop the ship once they reach the gate. The Buster Call begins with the first volley firing at the island.

Vegapunk watches helplessly as Egghead and all his inventions are destroyed. Atlas and Franky ride the Vacuum Rocket at extreme speeds. However, Kizaru intercepts their path using Ama no Murakumo. Sanji runs to rescue Atlas and Franky. 

Saturn orders the Pacifista to kill Kuma and Bonney, calling it a fitting end to the man who threw away his life for his daughter. Saturn mocks Kuma, calling his struggles the height of folly. Vegapunk watches helplessly while the Pacifista prepares to shoot. Luffy has eaten a lot of food but is trapped by the Marines and cannot live. Meanwhile, a Marine tries to warn Kizaru that “they” are coming to Egghead.
