One Piece Ch 1103 Raw Scans, Spoilers: Kuma Saves the Day

Chapter 1102 of One Piece is titled “Kuma’s Life.” After becoming a Warlord, Kuma goes through many missions around the world.

Throughout this time, Bonney and Luffy also begin their life as pirates. Kuma watches the two closely as Luffy’s actions remind him of Nika. The Bonney Pirates sail the sea searching for Kuma and Nika, while Kuma actively avoids making contact.

Eventually, the time comes for Kuma to lose all his free will. At the end of the operation, Vegapunk extracts a memory bubble to show Bonney.

1. Chapter 1103 Release Date

Kuma shows up to save Bonney from Saturn as Saturn reveals more about the experiments to Bonney in chapter 1103, titled “I’m So Sorry, Daddy…”

It will be a truly heartbreaking and exciting chapter as Kuma will show up on Egghead in the most thrilling way possible, crushing his way towards Saturn. 

The chapter starts with a flashback where Bonney apologizes to Vegapunk and gets to see her 10th birthday presents given by Kuma. Vegapunk apologizes to her for being unable to do anything, but she tells him not to apologize as Saturn is the real villain. 

We return to the present time, where Saturn holds Bonney tightly in his hands, and everyone else cannot move an inch. Luffy is desperate for food, but no one can provide it to him. 

Bonney tries to attack Saturn with Distorted Future Nikaish, Saturn is shocked to hear the word Nika from her. The attack fails to do a thing. He notices that Luffy has successfully gotten food from somewhere and orders his soldiers to stop his mouth. 

He goes on to tell Bonney that she got her powers because of him. She is just a product of a successful experiment they did to check whether the child will bear the fruit’s powers without feeding it to the baby directly. 

Nika is just a myth fed to her by her hopeless father. Vegapunk is also shocked to hear that Bonney’s mother unknowingly got involved in the experiments and got Sapphire scales, which tore apart Kuma’s family. 

Kuma shows up on Egghead. He heads straight for the center of the island. Every soldier starts firing at him to make him stop, but he refuses to lie down. Saturn slams Bonney onto the ground and is about to pierce her when Kuma shows up, stopping Saturn’s attack. 

He holds Bonney in his hand, keeps her aside, and turns to punch Saturn in the face. The chapter ends before we can see the impact of the punch.  

3. Chapter 1103 Speculation

The last panel showed Bonney in the present, overwhelmed with emotions after seeing Kuma’s memories. We will likely now continue with the main story at Egghead as St. Saturn descends and prepares to kill everyone.

I. Kuma Arrives

This entire series of flashbacks is setting up Kuma to arrive at Egghead and save Bonney. Bonney became a pirate only to find Kuma, and he knows this. Regardless, Kuma had actively avoided Bonney to protect her from Saturn. However, Saturn is now preparing to kill everyone at Egghead, and Kuma is the only one who can save everyone. The Giant Robot that was activated may also come along with Kuma since he may not be able to match the strength of Saturn by himself. The Giant Robot would be invulnerable to Saturn’s exploding gaze, so it may be vital in this battle.

II. Luffy Wakes Up

Another possibility is continuing the Nika idea, with Luffy dancing and jumping around. Considering how far Luffy has grown now, he may be able to face Saturn in battle. Although Luffy is currently exhausted from fighting Kizaru, Vegapunk may have some scientific solution to get him back. If Bonney sees Luffy’s Gear 5 with her own eyes, she will realize that Luffy has all the characteristics of Nika.  

III. Kizaru Betrays the Marines

Dragon had mentioned that even within the Marines, there were reasonable soldiers. Kizaru, throughout his battle with Luffy, had shown a different sense of justice than most marines. Besides, Kizaru knows Kuma, Bonney, Vegapunk, and Sentomaru and would not want to hurt them. Therefore, Kizaru could turn on the marines and fight alongside Luffy instead.

4. Chapter 1102 Recap

The Bonney Pirates sail in search of Kuma and arrive at an island. However, they’re immediately attacked by a fleet of Marines that heard reports from nearby towns. Kuma overhears Bonney trying to find him but avoids contact for her safety.

Bonney says she also wants to find Nika since Kuma would be ecstatic to meet them. Luffy defeating the Arlong Pirates becomes news across town as his first bounty poster starts circulating. Dragon goes to Loguetown after hearing that Smoker is in charge.

Kuma is amused that both his and Dragon’s kids have turned pirates. Bonney orders her crew to only steal from bad people and ignore cries for help unless it’s urgent. Bonney puts on some make-up where her sapphire scales were to make it easier for Kuma to recognize her.

The Pacifista clones of Kuma make him uncomfortable. However, Vegapunk says the production is going smoothly alongside Kuma’s modifications. Kuma tells Vegapunk about Luffy and how he reminds him of Nika. Kuma goes to Thriller Bark and faces the Straw Hats to capture Luffy.

However, Kuma leaves Luffy after seeing the loyalty of his crew. Kuma sails to the Archipelago after hearing about Ace’s execution. Kuma notices Bonney eating in a restaurant and realizes this is the last time he will see her before losing his free will. Kuma hears of an attack on a World Noble and finds Luffy being the culprit.

Kuma talks to them separately later, planning to leave his mark on the world through Luffy and Bonney. Although Luffy yells about being unable to save his crew, Kuma knows they’re not ready to tackle the New World yet. Kuma realizes that Luffy may be the one to save this world someday.

In case he goes rogue, Saturn orders Vegapunk to install a self-destruct mechanism in Kuma. Vegapunk pleads to let Kuma keep a bit of ego intact in a split personality form. However, Saturn orders Vegapunk to remove all of Kuma’s will. Through Kuma’s superhuman hearing, he hears the entire conversation.

Vegapunk prepares Kuma for the final operation. After the war with Whitebeard, Kuma asks Vegapunk to program him to protect the Thousand Sunny. Kuma thinks Luffy’s actions remind him of Nika. Vegapunk cries before pushing the final button, and Kuma thanks him for saving Bonney. Before his mind disappears, Kuma asks Vegapunk to wish Bonney a happy tenth birthday.
