2. Chapter 1100 Raw Scans
Chapter 1100 of One Piece is titled “Thank you, Bonney.” Kizaru has arrived at Vegapunk’s laboratory while some Marines are following him. Vegapunk had recently moved in due to the accident at Punk Hazard. Because of this, Vegapunk did not realise spy Den Den Mushi was inside the lab.
Kizaru brought Saturn’s Den Den Mushi since he wanted to speak with Vegapunk directly. Saturn is aware of Vegapunk’s illegal talks with a pirate, but since Kuma is an excellent clone host, Saturn allows the deal. However, Saturn adds three more conditions to the operation.
Saturn insists that Kuam must become a Shichibukai, replacing the one Ace defeated a few days back. Moreover, Kuma must become a human weapon after undergoing a cyborg surgery. After the surgery, Kuma must agree to have his mind erased. Vegapunk is furious upon hearing the conditions since this will practically kill Kuma.
Regardless, Kuma cries in joy since Bonney would be saved. Vegapunk explains that the surgery will take six months, after which Bonney must rest for a year. Kuma’s surgery, on the other hand, will take 2 years. Saturn says Bonney will be their hostage since Kuma may run away with her after the surgery.
The World Government will only release Bonney once Vegapunk erases Kuma’s mind, and Kuma will not be able to see Bonney even after her surgery. Kuma agrees to Saturn’s conditions but asks to send Bonney to the Sorbet Kingdom after the surgery. Kuma wants Bonney not to know about his side of the deal, and Saturn agrees.
After the agreement, Kuma, Bonney, Vegapunk and Sentoumaru spend time together and grow closer over the next 6 months. Kizaru is also a close friend as they dance and party together. The surgery also takes place piece by piece under Vegapunk’s supervision. After Bonney’s surgery is completed, she’s brought back to Sorbet Kingdom.
Conney and the others welcome her back to the Church, where Bonney lives under the medical team’s care. However, the medical team are government agents led by “Alpha.” In their final moments, Kuma said, “Thank you for being born, Bonney,” which made Bonney laugh. Sadly, Bonney didn’t know this would be the last time they would see each other.
Kuma goes to sea and does his duty as a new Shichibukai, and multiple former Shichibukais react differently to the news. Doflamingo, Miss All Sunday, Crocodile, and others discuss Kuma. While Doflamingo says another villain is in the line, Crocodile is not interested. Alvida had heard that Kuma was near Whitebeard’s size.
In Whitebeard’s ship, Ace and Jinbe start talking about Kuma with Whitebeard, Marco and Teach. While Ace talks about a successor being chosen, Hancock detaches herself from the meeting. Moria is amused about the Paw-Paw fruit, and Dragon is speechless. Kuma writes a letter to Bonney, explaining that he’s exploring many islands they can travel to together.
As time passes, Kuma obeys the government orders while a teenage Luffy plays around with a tiger.
3. Chapter 1100 Speculation
The flashback has come full circle with Kuma arriving at Egghead for the first time. We have also seen Kuma meeting with Vegapunk and the Pacifista’s origin. Now, we will likely return to the present timeline and Saturn’s battle at Egghead.
I. Kuma Fights Saturn
The last five chapters have been leading up to this moment. Kuma will undoubtedly come to Egghead and save Bonney and the Straw Hats. This fight is inevitable, especially since Saturn has a grudge against Kuma for decades.
II. Kuma Gets Experimented On
A more tragic path this story could take is Kuma’s experimentation. Since his free will is removed in the present, Saturn may have instructed Vegapunk to perform all such operations on Kuma. The transition from our cheerful pacifista Kuma to an emotionless cyborg will be heart-wrenching.
4. Chapter 1099 Recap
Bekori returns to the Sorbet Kingdom and enforces his strict and cruel rule again. The King tortures the villagers and even sets fires as a way of making the Kingdom powerful. Although the people oppose his control, he kills the villagers to set an example.
Kuma arrives at Bekori’s castle and destroys it entirely despite Bekori’s warnings. This night was passed down in history as Sorbet’s Solo Revolution. After this incident, Saturn is informed of a new King in the Holy Land. The people have named Kuma as their rightful ruler.
Although Kuma is the King by name, the real ruler is Bulldog, the King before Bekori. Kuma spends his time in the Church, healing the elderly. One day, Kuma spots a grown-up Bonney, running around even though she is less than ten years old. Bonney says she’s trying to increase her stamina to join Kuma on his adventures.
After looking in the mirror, Bonney is so shocked she returns to normal. Everybody realizes that Bonney must have eaten the Toshi Toshi no Mi. Although Bonney tries to learn the ability, Kuma doesn’t want her to overexert herself.
Bulldog requests to meet with Kuma at the Church and brings his mother, Connie. Bulldog tells Kuma that Bekori is planning another comeback with demonizing propaganda about Kuma. Although the people are on Kuma’s side, Bekori has the World Government’s backing. After hearing everything, Kuma asks Bulldog to become the official King and keep Bonney safe.
Kuma parts ways with Bonney and assures her that he’ll be back. Bekori returns to the Kingdom with an army of Marines. Kuma sinks all of Bekori’s ships and sets out to sea as a pirate. Over time, Kuma grows a bounty and sails worldwide, trying to find a cure for Bonney. Eventually, Kuma returns to the island and sees Bonney learning to fight.
During his adventures, Dragon told Kuma about Dr. Vegapunk, who had recently left Punk Hazard. Kuma takes Bonney to the Marines Science Division: Lab 8, which later becomes Egghead. Vegapunk tells Kuma he can cure Bonney with a stem cell transplant and scans Kuma.
After the scan, Vegapunk learns that Kuma is a Buccaneer and asks him to be the template for his clone soldiers. Kuma agrees and asks what the soldiers will do. Vegapunk assures him that the soldiers will protect the weak and subjugate the pirates. Vegapunk calls Kuma a saint, but Kuma says he’s a pacifist. This leads to Vegapunk naming the soldiers the ‘Pacifista.’
