Chapter 197 of Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint is titled ”Re-Reading Part 4.” In this chapter, Sookyung meets with Kim Dokja’s party. 

Sookyung has Dokja trapped because of her unique item. However, Sookyung’s plan is to partake in the next Main Scenario without putting Dokja at risk. The scenario requires four high-rankers or “Heavenly Kings,” as Joonghyeok calls them.

Sookyung is currently in a gray area with her intentions about Dokja. Although Sookyung holds Dokja in a prison realm, she does it to protect him. Dokja is still a tiny child in Sookyung’s eyes, and she doesn’t want to tell him the truth about his fate.

I. Sookyung vs Joonghyeok

Joonghyeok threatens to fight Sookyung if she does not immediately bring back Dokja. Sookyung is a brilliant and calculating woman, so she probably has a plan for her move.

Sookyung tells Joonghyeok that she only plans on being his ally in gathering other rankers. Sookyung reveals her constellation, which immediately shuts Joonghyeok up. Joonghyeok asks about Dokja, and Sookyung evades the question.

Joonghyeok is convinced that the world needs Dokja as someone who will become his teammate and see all scenarios till the end. Sookyung is convinced that Joonghyeok is a psychopath, doing anything to achieve his goal. However, the story won’t progress without Joonghyeok.

Joonghyeok wields his sword and tells Sookyung to hand over Kim Dokja or die. This action makes Sookyung realize what the line of fate means. Joonghyeok is a dangerous friend to Dokja, and Dokja’s death may be caused directly by his actions.

Sookyung reveals the Eight Beaded Bell, telling Joonghyeok that it’s a mother’s responsibility to protect her son from bad friends. As Joonghyeok watches alertly, Sookyung says she will bring Dokja back to reality.

Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint is a Korean metafictional apocalyptic fantasy webnovel penned by the author-duo Sing Shong. It was adapted into a webtoon by the same name in February 2020, one day after the end of the webnovel.

It follows the story of Kim Dokja, an ordinary salaried contractor, who one day, finds himself stuck in the world of his favorite fantasy novel. The webnovel is called Three Ways to Survive in a Ruined World, written by an anonymous author who goes by the name of tls123. Dokja was the sole reader who finished this novel to the end.
