My Hero Academia Ch 396 Release Date, Raws: AFO Receives an All-Mighty Kick

Himiko Toga’s battle comes to an end in chapter 395 of My Hero Academia, titled “Beyond Happiness.”

After running out of Jin’s blood, Toga disables her quirk, and all the Twice clones fizzle away into nothingness. The battlefield is reduced to just her and Uraraka, who lay bleeding from the stab wound that Toga gave her.

With the hero completely helpless and dying, it’s now up to the villain to save her.

Filled with love and affection for Uraraka, who saved her from the darkness consuming her, Toga offers up her blood to help. She has finally discovered both herself and someone who truly loves her.

2. Chapter 396 Raw Scans, Leaks

According to My Hero Academia chapter 396 spoilers, the chapter is titled “A Quirkless Fight.” The chapter starts 20 minutes before the clones disappear and switches to ALL MIGHT, remembering Nighteye’s foresight.

He realizes that the “villain” he mentioned is probably AFO. And if his prophecy hasn’t been avoided yet, it most certainly refers to this fight! 

The car then turns into armor that covers All Might’s entire body except for his mouth. After all, All Might still believes that a smile makes a hero, and those who smile are always the strongest. 

He is now called “Armored All Might,” the armor replicates his hero costume, including the “antennae” hairs and the cape.

All Might asks Hercules, his car, to start recording the fight, and it says it’s already started. AM then starts talking to Tsukauchi. La Brava also wants to record the battle as an opportunity to get some views. However, the cops are against it.

Tsukauchi remembers when All Might leave the command room, saying he would join the fight, and wonders if he has chosen where to die. After all, it’s impossible for someone without a quirk to face AFO, no matter how many support items he has.

Tsukauchi tells La Brava to stop the stream as they do not want the civilians to witness the brutal death of their former No.1 Hero. All Might is ready to get killed just to buy a few minutes, or maybe just a few seconds, for his student. AFO knows that wasting his time here is pointless.

However, seeing All Might smile makes him irrational, and he goes for it. All Might shouts, “Hercules! Red!” and what was left of the car forms a shield around him, protecting him from AFO’s electric beam. 

Hercules’ voice warns him that 66% of the shield has been destroyed and that it won’t be able to protect him from another attack, but All Might continues to smile. The electric beam had destroyed AFO’s arm but was already healing.

AFO tells All Might that this way of fighting, in which he moves forward without dodging, was only possible because he had One for All. But as soon as he tries to attack again, Black Whip emerges from the armor.

Just as it looks like AFO is about to rip the wires, All Might says, “Chagebolt,” and lightning starts coming out of them. The electricity slows AFO’s regeneration and gives All Might time to get closer to him. This technique is called “Cellophane.” 

All Might started saying that since their first fight and when he faced Nana, AFO always started with a big long-range attack. His goal was to weaken his enemy and steal One for All, but this way of fighting works against those with a quirk.

A new Hercules part comes flying in and attaches itself to his leg, propelling All Might’s foot upwards. All Might tells AFO that his armor and car were designed so that he could fight.

If he can fight just for a little, that’s enough for him. And who built these two items was his friend in the US who was forced to leave Japan due to Nana’s death. 

He then starts talking to Tsukauchi: “My friend, we have known each other for a long time, so you should know this. I’ve never gone into a fight thinking I would lose”.All Might kicks All For One in the face with a shooting-style smash. This kick ends the chapter!

Toga’s battle has ended with her finally discovering herself and a love like no other. Filled with gratitude to Uraraka for believing in her all this time, she will save her using her blood.

I. Toga is incapacitated

Uraraka is severely bleeding from the stab wound and will need a lot of blood to recover fully. In that case, Toga will be the one who is in danger, considering the amount of blood she is transporting. This will likely severely injure her and ultimately take her out of the battle, at least temporarily.

II. Shigaraki vs. Deku

The other possibility for the next chapter is to move to a different area of the battlefield, likely the fight between Deku and Shigaraki. This fight is the highlight of the war since either side’s victory will announce the end of the battle and the start of a new era.

She notices Uraraka is trying to get up and acknowledges her determination to help everyone. Toga transforms into Uraraka and gives her all the blood she can to save her since her transformed body would have the same type of blood.

Uraraka realizes what’s happening and tries to stop her, but Toga has already made up her mind. After everything she had done for her, this was the least she could do to repay the debt of blood. Moreover, she apologizes for all the pain she had caused the heroes, especially Uraraka.

Ochako was the one person left in this world with the heart to forgive Toga and still be brave enough to love her despite her flaws. Her heart, previously filled with guilt, now feels much lighter after repaying Ochako in blood. She thanks her for making her so happy even while she was focused on violence and suffering.

Toga lived a life filled with taking blood from the ones she loved, scaring the people closest to her. But now her love has transformed, and she wishes she had found something like this sooner, a love that made her want to give her own blood.
