Kingdom Chapter 787: Release Date, Speculations, Read Online

Shi Ryou stands tall against Ji Aga and Kan Saro while Sou’Ou invades Shi Ba Shou from the rear in chapter 786 of Kingdom.

It was an intense chapter. Both sides of the armies showed great strength, valor, and determination to serve their cause. Despite being gravely injured, Shi Ryou stood tall for her Sou’Ou and refused to let Ji Aga and Kan Saro get ahead of her. 

Shi Ba Shou took a stance and started destroying the enemy units after seeing an attack coming from the rear. Seeing Sou’Ou coming for aid, Ousen immediately orders two of his men to charge at Shi Ba Shou.

3. Chapter 787 Discussion 

Shi Ryou will most probably kill Ji Aga, sending shockwaves across the Seika army in chapter 787 of Kingdom. 

I. Ji Aga’s Death

The chapter ended at a very pivotal point. We can really say Shi Ryou managed to kill Ji Aga as her sword had just entered the skin. The suspense of what might have happened is too high. 

In such cases, the one getting cut somehow manages to survive the attack. So, Ji Aga will survive the attack if we look at previous such incidents in the manga. That will be bad for both Sou’Ou and the Qin army, because then one will have to lose his lover, and the army will lose one of their strongest soldiers.

II. Shi Ba Shou Vs. Sou’Ou

These two strong forces will soon collide. Shi Ba Shou seems to be stronger and more dominating on the battlefield. Sou’Ou’s aid has definitely helped Ousen in putting back a fight. 

However, the question arises whether Shi Ba Shou will fight Sou’Ou or Ousen. Either Sou’Ou will get killed first by Shi Ba Shou, causing Ousen to get down to deal with him. I don’t see any possibility of Sou’Ou dying in this battle. His love might, but not him. 

Still, many fans are predicting that is actually Sou’Ou who is going to die. Let’s see whether the lovers will get to reunite or death will separate them. 

4. Chapter 786 Recap 

Sou’Ou and his army attack Shi Ba Shou’s army from the rear, causing panic. Seeing Sou’Ou, Ousen orders Pagan and Fosun to go for Shi Ba Shou’s head immediately. 

The men of Shi Ba Shou put all their force in blocking the two units coming from the front. Shi Ba Shou engages in a conversation with Jojin, an old soldier of his. 

Jojin says there would have been no need for all the bloodshed if only they had sat down for tea together. Shi Ba Shou tells him that was not simple because they will have to lower their weapons first, and humans have too much fear. 

Shi Ba Shou moves ahead to attack despite Jojin’s reluctance because he believes everyone is part of the fire of Seika. Sou’Ou tells his men to annihilate every soldier around Shi Ba Shou and then strike down Shi Ba Shou. Jojin makes fun of him for even thinking that was possible. 

The focus shifts to the battle between Shi Ryou, Ji Aga, and Kan Saro. Poor Shi Ryou is attacked from all sides by Shi Ba Shou’s generals and is brutally hurt. Her unit tries to march forward, but Kansari and Ji Aga prove too strong to pass. 

Shin Kakugaku and Shansu from the Denrimi army try to provide some aid to the Shi Ryou unit, but Kan Saro and Ji Aga easily put them down. Shi Ryou is badly hurt but is still hellbent on protecting Sou’Ou.

Kanaro and Ji Aga’s units observe that Shi Ba Shou’s side is getting weaker because of the attack from the rear. Ji Aga asks Kan Saro if he thinks Shi Ba Shou might die. Kan Saro says it may be possible. 

However, Ji Aga thought something like that was not happening. Kan Saro tells him that he told him to have determination since the day Seika decided to accept Riboku.

Ji Aga realizes that he lacks motivation, and thus, he decides to move forward even if he has to crush Shi Ryou’s head. Shin Kaku Gaku gets desperate and determined to take down at least Kan Saro with him. 

He, with his unit, attacks Kan Saro. Shi Ryou also starts moving. Ji Aga moves to her back, but she turns around at the right time and goes for a direct strike to his neck. The chapter ends with Shi Ryou’s sword beginning to slice Ji Aga’s neck.
