Shin continues chasing down Riboku with everything he’s got in chapter 779 of Kingdom. Even with reinforcements cutting them off, Riboku manages to keep one step ahead of Shin.
Futei steps in before Shin can clash swords with Riboku and fights on his own. However, Shin’s mastery of the Oukis Glaive takes Futei by surprise and knocks him back. Meanwhile, Ten’s infantry unit chases from behind as they try to catch up with Shin.
At the end of a long chase, Riboku enters the safety of an earthen fort. Refusing to let this opportunity go, Shin commands his entire unit to surround the building.

3. Chapter 780 Discussion
Riboku has unleashed a high-risk, high-reward plan by baiting Shin to the fortress. Riboku aims to stall as much time as possible so that Shibashou and the Zhao army can focus on taking down Ousen. Since Shin is no longer on the main battlefield, the Qin Army is weakened.
I. Shin Invades the Fort
After Kanto finishes making the ladders, the surrounding infantry and Shin will try to invade the fortress. The war is won as long as they quickly win this battle and take Riboku’s head. However, if Riboku holds out for too long, Ousen’s head will be at risk.
II. Shibashou vs Ousen
According to Riboku’s plan, the Zhao army will focus on killing Ousen while Shin is removed. However, Akou’s military and General Ouhon are still on the battlefield. This will make it very difficult for them to target Ousen, who remains in the safest part of the army.
4. Chapter 779 Recap
As his horse approaches the enemy commander, Shin is hot on Riboku’s trail. However, Futei blocks the gap and clashes weapons with Shin. Extremely annoyed, Shin continues attacking Futei and tries to take him out as quickly as possible.

Vice Commander’s cousin Hayamata and his unit appear in front, blocking the escape route. Riboku’s unit realizes they’re being surrounded and moves to protect him. An uncomfortable feeling arises from Zhao’s left wing since they haven’t reacted at all despite Riboku being chased.
The only explanation is that their commanders were ordered not to move. General Ouhon observes their reactions and deduces that Riboku had predicted all this. Riboku had aimed for Shin and his unit to chase him and separate from the right wing.
The sound of marching fills the battlefield as the Zhao Central Army finally moves out. Ten and her unit also chase Shin but are too far out and have separated from the right wing. While Riboku continues running, reinforcement units approach them from behind.
Shin focuses on killing Riboku and chases him regardless of the reinforcements. Eventually, Shin is forced to stop as a large fort comes into view. Riboku and his unit go through the enormous gates while Shin hopelessly tries to chase him down. However, the gate closes before Shin can make it inside.
The archers on top of the fort walls start firing at Shin’s unit while he screams for Riboku to come out. Ten’s unit spots the fort afar, realizing it’s made of earthen walls. Shin commands the infantry unit to surround the fort since they have more soldiers.
The 10,000 soldiers of Shin’s unit should be enough to take down this fortress. Shin assumes that Riboku wouldn’t predict their abandonment of the right-wing, thus constructing a weak fort. Kanto and his friends build ladders from nearby trees as the rest of Shin’s soldiers surround the fort.
Riboku realizes that Shin has always been an important figure who changed the course of the Qin wars. Riboku’s priorities have now changed, wanting to take down Shin first. However, he’s still just a general, so Zhao can’t spare that many soldiers to take him down.
However, Riboku does the next best thing: bait out Riboku to this fortress. Now that his unit is separated from the left wing, the Zhao army can target Ousen’s head. Shibashou heads to the front of their units, preparing for battle.
