Ri Shin is the spark that starts the battle, obliterating the Zhao Left Wing with his spear. Meanwhile, the Qin Army Left Wing observes the start of the fight. They gear up and announce the bloodbath that is to come.
With a fierce battle cry, the frontline marches forward towards the opposing forces. Their initial charge is stopped by a wave of arrows raining down and knocking them off their horses. Regardless of the losses, the charge doesn’t slow down either.

Ousen and Youtanwa are reputed undefeated generals with Ouhon and Ri Shin. With this much power, they should easily be able to take down Riboku and claim Hango. The Queen puts all her hopes on Shin as the piercing frontline of the Hi Shin unit.
From Zhao’s perspective, the outcome of their Left Wing is the easiest to assume. They have over double the numbers of the Hi Shin unit and are also well-trained. Therefore, if the Qin Right Wing wins despite these odds, it would be a tremendous blow to the Zhao Army.
The only way they can imagine beating Riboku is through moving in unpredictable ways. Both wings have started battle, but the middle is still completely silent. Eventually, the Gakushou Army charges forward in response to the enemy march.
They notice that the Zhao army matches pace instead of speeding up or slowing down. Ousen tries to figure out what their strategy is since they’re intentionally matching positions. Hon remembers a plan four years ago where Riboku personally targeted the second general.
Riboku employs the same tactic in this battle and waits in the woods on the right of Akou’s army. Because of this, he doesn’t announce a full charge. Both Ousen and Akou know this is bait, but Akou still has the pride to defend and shouts orders to full charge towards Riboku.
