Chihiro and the Kamunabi have formed a plan to take down Sojo and rescue Char simultaneously. It is only a matter of time before they start moving. Sojo’s location is easy to find as he is still operating as usual.
Sojo’s plan to make the Datenseki into enchanted blades is perfect in theory, but he cannot seem to get it right in reality. He is also intrigued by Chihiro and his relationship with Rokuhira. Here are the latest updates.

3. Chapter 13 Speculation
The Kamunabi have surrounded Sojo, and a battle between the two is inevitable. Phantom sorcerers and Cloud Gouger would surely be a spectacle to witness. Unlike Chihiro, who knew exactly how to counter Cloud Gouger to minimize damage, it might be hard for the Kamunabi to protect civilians if Sojo lets loose.
Meanwhile, Chihiro is off to rescue Char. He has already taken care of the low-level guards and is currently questioning one of them. He might have to fight stronger opponents, which might be hard considering he just got out of the hospital. However, he has Enten to help him.
4. Chapter 12 Recap
Chapter 12 of Kagurabachi is titled “Preparations.” The Kamunabi and Chihiro have made a plan of attack, and they are set to go. All they need is Sojo’s current location and base of operations. As Sojo is still doing business, his whereabouts should not be hard to find. The Kamunabi left Chihiro to himself, telling him they would inform him when it was time to move.
Around forty-nine hours have passed since Chihiro woke up, and he is healing slowly. His left hand is damaged the most. Shiba is surprised at Chihiro’s ability to not lose himself in anger and make rash decisions. He thinks all his actions through and decides based on his principles. Compared to Shiba and Azami, Chihiro is a prodigy.
The men Sojo has appointed to guard Char and the researchers are taking the job lightly. They are confident that no one will come this far to look for them. Meanwhile, Sojo is in a public bathhouse thinking about his encounter with Chihiro. Everything that happened points to the fact that Chihiro is Rokuhira’s son, but Sojo cannot believe his ideals.
Sojo refuses to believe that Rokuhira’s son would have such a mindset compared to Sojo’s idea of Rokuhira. A group of men come to him to return Datenseki, but the sorcerer who used it blew up. They attack Sojo for misleading them, which cost them the strongest member of the group. However, Sojo kills them all with ease.
Now literally soaking in a bloodbath, Sojo thinks about the Datenseki. It is still not working even when they are doing everything correctly in theory. Sojo is reminded of Chihiro, telling him he doesn’t understand anything. He decides to fight Chihiro again, mainly because he is Rokuhira’s son and also because Sojo needs more information.
Sojo steps out of the bathhouse, only to find himself surrounded by the Kamunabi. Meanwhile, Chihiro has killed everyone except for one of the men who were guarding Char’s research spot.
