Sukuna analyzes Higuruma’s actions and acknowledges his potential. Yuji catches up to both of them, but Sukuna attacks Yuji and calls him boring. Sukuna provokes Higuruma, cutting off his right arm and then telling him to use the Reverse Cursed Technique to save himself. Higuruma reminds himself he has a role to fulfill before dying.
Higuruma manages to do the Reverse Cursed Technique, regenerating his right arm. He stabs Sukuna’s hand with his sword, but Sukuna has already cut off his own hand before Higuruma attacks. Sukuna attacks Higuruma with multiple slashes and as Higuruma is falling, he throws his sword to Yuji.
Yuji looks at Higuruma’s eyes and remembers Nanami’s final words to him. Yuji catches the Executioner’s Sword and tries to stab Sukuna in the back.

2. Chapter 248 Raw Scans, Leaks
The queen of curses will meet the king of curses in chapter 248 of Jujutsu Kaisen.
As expected, Yuji fails to stab Sukuna and ends up getting slashed. Higuruma took Kamutome with him. Sukuna notices that Yuji’s stomach has fully healed. Kiara and Ui Ui retreat with Higuruma’s body.
Sukuna confirms that Ui Ui has an instant teleportation cursed technique, and he was the one who took away Gojo’s dead body. Sukuna gets lost in his thoughts, thinking about the dead bodies being taken to Shoko and Yuji learning the reversed cursed technique in one month.
He decides to have some fun with Yuji now that the boy has improved. However, he feels upset for some reason. On pondering harder, he realizes that he just kills people to pass the time until he dies, but the ones he is fighting carry ideals with them.
He never thought about any ideal or a wish that was worth more than his life. He blames Yuji for his annoyance as Yuji is someone much below his level, but he still stands strong in front of him because of his willpower, which makes Sukuna feel unpleasant.
Kogane suddenly announces a new rule: “Megumi Fushiguro now holds the authority to activate the merger between Tengen and Humanity,” is added to the game.
Kusakabe realizes that Yuta’s ambush was successful and led to this new rule’s activation. Sukuna announces that he will kill Yuji and then all the culling game participants.
Yuta shows up on the battlefield. Sukuna tells him to struggle and resist, and if he fails to kill him, Sukuna will kill everyone he loves.
At this moment, Rika appears, warning Sukuna about who he is talking to. Sukuna is pretty delighted to meet the queen.
3. Chapter 248 Speculation
In the last panel of chapter 247, we see Itadori with the “Executioner’s Sword” in his hand as he tries to stab Sukuna from behind. But he’ll likely fail to do so since that would be kind of a bland ending to the fight after Gege teased a possible power-up for Itadori. His hands in this panel still look somewhat abnormal, so the possibility of his power-up is still there. Some fan theories say that the one who used “Piercing Blood” on Sukuna wasn’t Choso. We didn’t see the user since it was Itadori using it.
Gojo Satoru has been dead for 89 days now, and we have no information on him right now. It is very suspicious that such an important character will suddenly get no attention after being killed off-screen. The more surprising thing here is that it is very unlikely that the sorcerers won’t try to retrieve his body from the battlefield. We also don’t have any info on Yuta, the deceased Kenjaku, and the mysterious beholder of his “Will”.
4. Chapter 247 Recap
Sukuna acknowledges Higuruma as he was the rival to Gojo Satoru himself. Sukuna uses dismantle to destroy the building they were in, and as this happens, Yuji jumps into the fight. Sukuna grabs him and throws him away with a net of “slashes” thrown toward him afterward.
He tells Yuji that he is boring; there isn’t a single interesting thing in him. Sukuna then charges towards Higuruma again, managing to land a punch on his face. Before Higuruma can recover from the shock of the punch, Sukuna starts the chant for his dismantle and launches the attack on him.
This attack severs Higuruma’s right hand, and Sukuna provokes him to use the reverse cursed technique by cutting off his left arm, too. Suddenly, someone uses “Piercing Blood” on Sukuna, diverting his attention from the injured Higuruma. In this short moment, his affinity for cursed energy does a miracle and he heals his right arm using the newly learned reverse cursed technique.
He manages to pierce Sukuna’s palm with the “Executioner’s Sword”, but he notices that Sukuna cut off his own arm before he could pierce it. Yuji attacks Sukuna from behind as Higuruma reaches the final moments of his life. We see a parallel to Nanami’s death as Yuji watches Higuruma die. In chapter 246, he tells Yuji that he can’t even look him in the eye anymore, but in his last moments, he finally looks Yuji in the eye & entrusts his will (sword) to him.
