After a long break, Chainsaw Man came back in its full glory (only to get another break). Denji turned into Chainsaw Man after resisting it for so long, letting lose all the frustration and pent-up aggression.

Denji will go on a killing spear in chapter 153 of Chainsaw Man. 

I. Out of Control

After tasting blood once again after a long time, Denji has gone insane. He seems to enjoy the pain and pleasure he is getting from all the killing. He has made someone like Nayuta horrified and shocked, and it seems there is no stopping him for now.

4. Chapter 152 Recap

Denji turns into Chainsaw Man. Common folks around him start calling him another Chainsaw Man wannabe. The church guys prepare to engage with Denji. Miri Sugo and Spear Hybrid approach Denji. 

Nayuta tells Denji that they should run away for now. Denji tells her to get out of his way (finally!). Denji talks to Pochita about how he is the worst because despite them burning down his house and pets, he is happy to be Chainsaw Man again. 

He thanks the guys from the church as he got to be Chainsaw Man. The battle between Denji, Sugo, Whip Hybrid, and Spear begins.

Whip and Sugo attack Denji from the front, while Spear launches a surprise attack from behind and tells Chainsaw Man to give them a real scare. Being unable to move, Denji cuts himself from between, getting rid of Spear and opening himself up. 

They both fall down into two parts, and Denji devours Spear, treating him like food. Whip Hybrid hastily attacks him, but Denji cuts her left leg and starts slicing her aggressively, saying he needs to cook his food first. 

Whip asks Sugo for help. Sugo charges at Chainsaw Man, and both of them stab each other right into their chests. Denji suddenly starts talking about Massages. Saying using too much force can make massages painful. 

However, he talks about a sweet spot where the pain turns into pleasure. Nayuta is confused and tells him that they should go. He tells Nayuta that she should stop being around her anymore. 

The reason he says this is that despite getting stabbed and hurt, he is feeling really good. Denji starts laughing hysterically, leaving Nayuta in utter shock.

Chainsaw Man is a manga series by Tatsuki Fujimoto that was serialized from December 2018-2020 and returned in July 2022 with a second part. The series also received an anime series by MAPPA.

The manga’s plot revolves around Denji, an orphaned boy who has to work as a devil hunter to make a living and pay off his father’s debt.

However, his pet devil, Pochita is killed on a mission. Denji wakes up to realize he and Pochita have become a single being, Chainsaw Man. If he does not want to get killed, he has to join the government and continue hunting demons.
