Denji is now on the run with Fumiko and Nayuta. As long as Nayuta is not in danger, Denji will not transform into Chainsaw Man. Hence, the only one left to match Yoru’s power is Quanxi. Quanxi has only lost in battle to Pochita, and Yoru is not nearly as strong yet. Hence, this battle would heavily go in Quanxi’s favor.

A random stranger points at Denji, accusing him of being a wannabe Chainsaw Man. Eventually, a large crowd gathers around because of the commotion. Denji tries to deny the accusations, but the man is adamant since disrespectful kids like Denji have all been transforming.

Fumiko holds out her Public Safety badge, but other Public Safety agents have already been seen transforming into Chainsaw Man. One of the agents apologizes to Denji and asks him politely to show them his chest to clear up the confusion.

Since Denji has a cord in his chest, he dodges the question, making him look suspicious. The agent pulls out a gun, ordering Denji to show his chest. Quanxi tells Denji to run, blocking the bullets with her bare arms. Fumiko looks back with fear, but Quanxi just tells her to keep running.

Meanwhile, in Room 606, Asa looks down at her severed arm covered in a pool of blood. Asa blocks Yoshida’s sword with her other arm, which starts bleeding, too. Yoshida summons the Octopus Devil, which wraps around Asa as she calls out “Room 606 Sword” again.

The apartment section disappears, leaving only Yoshida and the tentacles wrapped around Asa. The octopus tentacles tighten even more, crushing Asa’s entire body. Spurts of blood make it through the gaps in the tentacles, and Yoshida watches from outside.

Suddenly, the tentacles are sliced into multiple pieces as Yoru emerges, holding a large sword. The sword consists of the fan, lights, and pipes of Room 606 and is almost as big as Yoru herself. Yoru realizes that they can now use their power without touching anything.

Yoshida cautiously watches Yoru’s every move, waiting for her to attack first. Yoru zooms past Yoshida in a split second and slams into the opposite building. The War Devil isn’t used to her increased strength yet, making it difficult to control. As Yoru looks back at the room, Yoshida is nowhere to be seen.

Yoru drops down to the streets and laughs at the chaos. Buildings are in flames, and multiple cremated bodies fill the streets. People now remember the destruction of the War Devil once more.
