Fujimoto has been bringing back multiple fan favorites in each chapter and destroying any predictions. With the current trend of chapters, we can expect to see the rest of Special Division 7 since only three members have been shown.

I. Kishibe returns.

Quanxi is an agent of Special Division 7, meaning she isn’t the squad leader. The only one who can reasonably manage such an insane group of hybrids and fiends is Kishibe. This would be the perfect time for Kishibe to reappear as the leader of Special Division 7.

II. Reze comes back.

One of the most beloved characters of the Chainsaw Man franchise is the Bomb Hybrid. Although it is implausible for them to bring Reze back after the tragic ending of her arc, there is still some hope left since Katana Man returned. The Chainsaw Man church members, mostly just students, are stationed in the hallways with guns. One of the leaders announces that these weapons were bestowed upon them by Chainsaw Man and that it is his will that they can drive away the darkness within the government.

The people cheer for Chainsaw Man, and Public Safety sends in their first agent from Special Division 7 through the front door. The glass shatters as a human figure breaks through and faces all the students head-on.

The Nail Fiend begins laughing after seeing that it’s just a bunch of students and doesn’t like that they’re playing with guns. The leader tells them to fire, but she jumps to dodge the bullets. Within an instant, she speeds through all the students and nails them to the wall.

Throughout the whole action sequence, she insists that the precious hands of students are meant for studying only and not for guns. After they’re all stuck up on the wall, she approaches one of the students and asks him to make a promise.

The Nail Fiend tells him to use his hands only to hold mechanical pencils and never guns. He responds begrudgingly, which pisses her off, so she slashes his brains out with a hammer. All the other kids start screaming in fear, and the group leader is the only one left.

The leader starts growing bigger and transforming, talking about how the Devil Hunters sell their souls to the devil, making them evil. However, he’s different since he decided to become a devil instead. Announcing that he’s Justice incarnate, he goes to kick the Nail Fiend.

Hearing the word Justice associated with the Chainsaw Man Church, a raspy voice comes from behind him. The leader’s leg gets cut off, and then Katana Man zooms through his torso and cuts out his entrails. He shouts back that there’s no such thing as Justice when it comes to Chainsaw Man.

Chainsaw Man is a manga series by Tatsuki Fujimoto that was serialized from December 2018-2020 and returned in July 2022 with a second part. The series also received an anime series by MAPPA.

The manga’s plot revolves around Denji, an orphaned boy who has to work as a devil hunter to make a living and pay off his father’s debt.
