Boruto will put Mitsuki on hold and escape in Chapter 7 of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex.

Mitsuki is hellbent on finishing off Boruto. His strength seems to be uncontrollable at the moment. He himself might not know how to command his rage and power to fight efficiently.

4. Chapter 6 Recap

Shikamaru meets Homura and Koharu. They inquire him about Boruto’s return and tell him that Boruto’s execution is a must for the betterment of Konoha and its honor. 

They also request that he take the title of the eighth lord, as it has been three years now, and he’s not taking charge, which weakens his position in the Land of Fire and other villages. Shikamaru ignores the question and leaves. 

Ino shows up in his office with old logs. Seeing Shikamaru distressed, she leaves the room and contacts him with a private transmitter. He asks her not to let the sensory unit listen to them. She says it is illegal, but Shikamaru convinces her by saying this is important for their survival. 

Eida tells Kawaki about the sentient God Trees and how all of them are after someone from the villagers, with one of them wanting to kill Naruto. Daemon tells Kawaki that apart from Boruto and Sasuke, only he knows that Naruto is alive.

So, if the sentiments show up in the village searching for Naruto, the village will find out that Kawaki lied. Kawaki leaves and meets Mitsuki outside, who is eavesdropping. 

Boruto, Sarda, and Sumire have some conversation, and Boruto reveals to Sarda that Sasuke has been absorbed by the Ten-Tails. Kawaki feels Boruto’s presence. Mitsuki informs about Boruto’s presence to Shikamaru. 

Boruto tells them that the Ten-Tails have already started evolving without absorbing an Ohtsutsuki. Mitsuki tells Shikamaru to ask Eida to tell him Boruto’s exact location. 

Shikamaru contacts Boruto via Ino and warns him about an upcoming attack. Before Boruto can get ready, Mitsuki attacks him. Sarda tries to stop Mitsuki, but he tells her to get out of the way as he can’t control his strength. 

He starts throwing intense attacks at Boruto. Boruto escapes all the attacks and decides to leave the village. He assures Sarda that he will rescue Sasuke. His talk with Shikamaru continues while Boruto reaches a far-off place.

Shikamaru tells Boruto that he can support the latter despite everyone being against him, but he will need Boruto’s help. He also raises the question of whether Boruto is actually Boruto Uzumaki or not. 

Boruto tells him that he will have to cut off the conversation as he has something to deal with first. Mitsuki shows up again. Boruto says that he will have to go a little rough against him.
