Boruto reunites with Sarada in chapter 5 of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, titled “Target.”

The official website of Naruto has revealed an image of Mitsuki in Sage mode in chapter 6 of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex.

This image was enough to get everyone excited about what might be coming up in the next chapter. Mitsuki confronts Boruto, telling him that he has been waiting for this moment.

Sarada tries to stop him, telling him to listen first to Boruto’s side of the story. However, it looks like Mitsuki doesn’t care.

4. Chapter 5 Recap

The chapter starts with Boruto and Sasuke’s training. Sasuke tells Boruto that he has taught him every move and method he knows. He calls Boruto a genius and says that something is coming up that only he and Sarada can deal with.

The scene cuts to Sasuke and Boruto being surrounded by Code and his monsters. Sasuke has taken one Code’s eyes. He tells Boruto to run away as they can’t defeat him at his present level.

He tells Boruto to care for Sarada, charges at Code, and ends up as a Divine Tree. The flashback ends with this, and everyone gathers around Moegi, who has turned into a Divine Tree.

Matsuri starts feeling the sadness felt by Moegi’s friends. Jura tells her they have started developing independent consciousness. Their goal is still the same: to devour Kawaki and Boruto.

He also declares that he is thinking of devouring Uzumaki Naruto. Ada, who has been watching them, gets shocked hearing this. Jura also thinks some change is happening to their instinctual thinking.

He tells everyone to bend their ears to listen to their inner voices and find their individual targets. Matsuri tells them that she wants to eat Sarutobi Konahamura. Hidari asks Jura what they are.

Jura tells him that it doesn’t matter. What matters is what they ought to do. Their instincts will tell them the same, and that will form their identity. At this moment, Bug’s Divine Tree gets up and heads to where Ada is sitting.

He tells her that his target is her (he is not supposed to see her). This leaves Ada startled. Hidari decides that his target is Uchiha Sarada. The narrative shifts to Sumire and Amado.

Sumire asks Amado why he doesn’t worry about Boruto ending up dead. Amado starts talking about how Kawaki’s body is supposed to be a scientific ninja tool, yet no one knows who modified it. He reveals that he modified it, but he doesn’t have any memory about the same.

He goes on to detail how he knows it for sure. The special karma containing Akebi’s data is embedded in Kawaki’s palm. Thus, his priority is Akebi’s karma, which is with Kawaki.

Sumire goes on to tell all this to Sarada. Just as they are discussing all this, Boruto shows up. He tells Sarada that Sasuke saved him for her sake despite his fading memory.

Sarada embraces him, calling him out for being late. Boruto apologizes, claiming that he is back home.
