The official website of The Quintessential Quintuplets has announced that season 2 will premiere in January 2021 on Sun TV, BS11, and TBS.
A fifteen-second commercial video has been released for The Quintessential Quintuplets Season 2.
The video shows each of the quintuplets of the Nakano family in their specific personalities. Futaro, the tutor of the quintuplets, is shown as well.
The Quintessential Quintuplets Season 2 is being produced by Bibury Animation studio.
The first season was animated by Tezuka Productions. The main cast is reprising their roles in the anime.

Season 1 of The Quintessential Quintuplets ended in March 2019, and the second season was announced for October 2020.
