Quintessential Quintuplets performed incredibly well in bookstores and also announced season 2 of the anime shortly after season 1 ended.
Quintessential Quintuplets entered the final arc with the opening of the school festival. Even though it is the longest story arc of the series, it will be ending after three more chapters.
The first anime adaptation of the manga came out in January of last year. However, all good things must come to an end.
Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine’s 10th issue for 2020 has announced that Negi Haruba’s The Quintessential Quintuplets is ending by the next three chapters.

The tweet does not specify when the final chapter will be released, though, but fans are waiting for it eagerly.
Haruba tweeted that the manga will have a total of 14 tankoubon volumes and the fact that its latest volume, Vol. 13, shipped out last January, proves that the next one will indeed be the last.
Although, Haruba initially didn’t plan on ending the series so soon, in fact in one of his earlier tweets he said:
“I remembered talking to my friend a while ago, back before I decided to serialize, and I seemed enthusiastic about drawing a manga that would keep going on and on.”
He, however, continues in his second tweet by saying:
“I found out when I first started that it’s hard to keep it going. The senseis [manga creators] who have been drawing for dozens of volumes are really amazing.”
