Archetypal Marvel characters such as Thor, Iron Man, Captain America, etc. might have their unique fan-following, but that’s nothing when compared to the immortal legacy set by our arachnid wall-crawler, the adored Spider-Man.
If you have not been keeping yourself updated with every Spider-Man related content that is being released out there, fret not my friend! I have exactly done that for you.
Since there is a ton of stuff to catch up on, let’s start with a simpler Release Order before we proceed with a meaningful sequence of all the Spider-Man entries:
Release Order
The earliest cartoon show of Spider-Man dates back to 1967 which is popular not only because of classical Marvel ethinicity but also because of the internet meme trend it started. Here, you will see how a nerdy Peter Parker became the masked crime fighter after being bitten by a radioactive spider.

This humongous collection of Spider-Man content won’t be easy to steer through if you don’t refer to the chronological order below:
Chronological Watch Order
If you ask me, watching the TV Shows according to the Release Order would always be ideal for me. That depicts how Spider-Man as a character evolved with time by taking on more challenging tasks and teaming up with the Avengers, yetl retaining his friendly-neighborhood niche. The improving animation is also a bonus.
Whereas for the movies, you’d be wise to follow the chronology. Start with the old TV films,
- Spider-Man (1977)
- Spider-Man Strikes Back (1978)
- Spider-Man: The Dragon’s Challenge (1981)
Next, the Sam Raimi trilogy should be the perfect arc, followed by the two Amazing Spider-Man films:
- Spider-Man (1977)
- Spider-Man Strikes Back (1978)
- Spider-Man: The Dragon’s Challenge (1981)
- The Amazing Spider-Man (2012)
- The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014)
Still longing to hear Tom Holland’s name? Don’t be so impatient, I was getting there. Everybody just loves these Marvel reboots for its amusing moments.
And I just love how they have kept the plot details of No Way Home under wraps amid the rumors surrounding Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield cameo appearances. Well, its not long before we see that for ourselves in theatres.
- Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017)
- Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019)
- Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021) (upcoming)
