NBC’s Quantum Leap is back! Thirty years following Dr. Sam Beckett’s disappearance, his project is revived. The lead scientist of the new project, Ben Song, gets a series of texts and makes a time leap.
He finds himself in 1985, in the body of another man and with his memories gone. His fiance, Addison, appears to him as a hologram and explains to him that he’s from the future. She helps him drive the getaway car as Sam appears to be in the body of someone aiding a group of criminals.
1. Episode 2 Speculation
Ben successfully saves Ryan’s life and tries to make the leap. However, something goes wrong and his team back in 2022 can’t trace him. The team will likely try to trace his whereabouts, which will be challenging as he leaped into the body of an astronaut who took off into space.
Additionally, the team will try to locate the woman who was with Ben the night he made the leap. She may be the one who might hold the answers to why Ben left that night and how to bring him back.

Chapter 2 of the Quantum Leap series has been released on Monday, Sep 26, 2022 at 7:00 pm PDT. The chapter title has not been leaked yet.

Thirty years following Dr. Sam Beckett’s disappearance, his project is revived and is led by Dr. Ben Song. On the night of his engagement party, he gets a series of texts that prompt him to make an unauthorized leap in time without informing the rest of his team.
He finds himself in 1985, in the body of another person with his memories gone. The man next to him refers to him as Nick, puts on gloves and a mask, and steps out of the car to commit a robbery.
Addison appears to him as a hologram and explains what’s going on. She helps him maneuver the getaway car after the robbery. Ben is obviously shaken up but maintains the facade of being Nick.
Later, Addison explains to him that if he saves Ryan, who dies after committing the robbery in the original timeline, he might be able to leap back to his body.

Based on the 80s science fiction series of the same name, Quantum Leap is a revival series created by Steven Lilien and Bryan Wynbrandt.
The series follows the events thirty years after Dr. Sam Beckett disappeared into the Quantum Leap accelerator. The project has been revived and a new team has been tasked with solving the mystery of the machine.
The show premiered on September 19, 2022 on NBC.
