Psychic Princess or Tong Ling Fei is a Chinese Original Net Animation known for its beautiful art style and intriguing storyline.
Season 1 of Psychic Princess ended in April 2019, and ever since, fans have been starved for more of the story, especially after the finale ended with a cliffhanger.
The story of Psychic Princess follows Qian Yunxi, a young lady, sent to live in the mountains at the age of eight because she possessed “strange abilities.”
Her noble family marries her off to an enemy prince, Ye Youming, to restore peace and harmony, instead of her younger sister.
Ye Youming clearly doesn’t care much about the princess and also abandons her by sending her away to a haunted house. However, it turns out that Qian Yunxi was a psychic, after which things start changing for the better or worse.
If you’ve gobbled up all that Japan has to offer in terms of Shoujo, give a chance to this Chinese anime to spice things up!
1. Release Date
Season 2 of Psychic Princess is not announced yet. Since the anime received a lot of attention, it is highly likely that that Haoliners Animation League, the Studio responsible for Season 1, will produce another season.
We expect Season 2 to be out by October or November 2022.
While waiting for a season to come out, could entertain yourself with the live-action series based on the anime. Even though it’s not as good as the original, something is at least better than nothing.
We hope to receive news regarding the production of Season 2 of the anime as it’s too good to be left incomplete!
2. What To Expect From Season 2
By the end of Season 1, Ye Youming finally starts treating Qian Yunxi as a proper lady and makes arrangements for her to live in the main palace.
Qian Yunxi enters her new home with her spirit buddies from the haunted house. While she is still not accepted by everyone in the palace, she is respected.
However, the scene soon cuts to a mysterious hooded man conversing with an evil spirit. The spirit tells him that it had discovered the location of the ring, after which we are greeted by the end credits.
Season 2 would unfold the events surrounding the mysterious man and his connection to Qian Yunxi.

The story of Psychic Princess follows Qian Yunxi, a young maiden and the prime minister’s daughter, who is sent to live in the mountains at eight years of age. She was put into such an exile since she possessed “strange abilities.”
Qian Yunxi’s noble family was told that their second-born daughter would be married away to an enemy prince, Ye Youming, to restore peace and harmony.
Unfortunately, the family sends away Qian Yunxi, who didn’t matter to them, just to speed up the process.
Prince Ye Youming doesn’t take a liking to the princess either and sends her away to a haunted house. However, it turns out that Qian Yunxi was a psychic, after which things start changing for the better or worse.
