The official website for Studio 4°C’s anime film, based on Akihiro Nishino’s Poupelle of Chimney Town picture book, announced on Wednesday that a new version of L’Arc-en-Ciel frontman HYDE’s “Halloween Party” song will be the film’s opening theme song.
HYDE arranges “HALLOWEEN PARTY” and is in charge of OP theme song for “Poupelle of Chimney Town.”

The song is HYDE’s official theme song for his annual Halloween costume party event.
The new version for the film, titled “Halloween Party -Poupelle version” will have a new children’s chorus part. This will feature in the film’s opening scene as a dance number.
TOHO is streaming a video that shows the motion capture recording for the scene.
“HALLOWEEN PARTY -Poupelle version-” will be available on online music sites from 16th October 2020. The film is set for a release this December.
