Pompo: The Cinephile is an upcoming anime film scheduled for a 2021 release. This anime film focuses on the genre of film making. It is a wake-up call for all the struggling artists in the film industries out there.
In the anime, the harshness of the entertainment industry is revealed. Although a lot of things seem unfair, with enough hard work and determination any goal can be reached.
The official website of Pompo: The Cinephile has released a new trailer for the anime film. The film will premiere on 19th March 2021.
The trailer starts off as an adventure movie trailer but soon shifts to the behind the scenes work of movie production. “Nyallywood” is where our story is set in.
Our protagonist and his friends are seen working under tremendous pressure to overcome the challenges and establish themselves.
A new visual for the anime has also been released.
The visual shows all the main characters of the anime film. Gene, Pompo, Nathalie Woodward, Mystia and Martin Braddock can be spotted if looked at carefully.
Pompo: The Cinephile is being produced by studio CLAP. The film was scheduled for release in 2020 but was delayed till 2021 due to “various circumstances”.

About Pompo: The Cinephile
Pompo: The Cinephile is an upcoming anime film under studio CLAP. Sugitani released the original manga on the pixiv website starting in 2017.
The film is set in the fictional film industry of “Nyallywood”. Gene Fini is an aspiring producer who works under Pompo who is a talented movie producer.
Pompo hasn’t been having much success with her recent films. When Gene stumbles across a script by Pompo, he marvels at it.
Pompo places the responsibility for the new film on Gini. How will this movie which has a lot of rookie dreams entangled with it turn out?
