Episode 14 Speculations
A second season for the anime Police in a Pod has not been announced yet by the studio Madhouse. The manga is ten volumes long, and there are a few chapters that haven’t been adapted. Hopefully, we’ll see them on screen soon.
At the beginning of the series, Kawai considered leaving her work as a police officer and changing professions. She has come a long way from that and is taking her work more seriously, but will her determination be enough in the future?
We haven’t seen any ships coming true throughout the series. Can we still expect the Kawai-Fuji ship to sail? Hopefully, we’ll have our answers next season.

Episode 13 Recap
Makitaka comes in saying she’s gotten her hands on the complete testimony of the victim. The girl said she was walking back home when some guy pulled her into an alley and showed her something on his phone.
She was shown a video of him raping a high school girl in a dark vehicle. He threatened her, saying he was about to do the same thing to her and that he would kill her if she resisted.
A report comes in from Minamoto and Fuji saying they’ve spotted criminal A, Yasuda Daijiro, getting into a black minivan.
The officers are ready to rush out and catch him, but the overseer of this operation that the headquarters sent decides that only the elite officers may participate in the chase. Makitaka grabs a car key, and together with Kawai and Yamada, she sneaks out to catch the criminal.
Makitaka thinks it’s odd that the criminals are out at 9:35 in the evening when all the previous crimes took place within 8:00. Kawai says one cram school in Machiyama lets out its students around this time, so that is where they go.
Most kids are picked up by their parents, but one girl goes home alone. She picks a shortcut through a dark alley, and all three officers follow her on foot. They spot a black minivan coming up to her. The man inside rolls his window down and asks for directions.
While the schoolgirl talked to the man in the car, Yasuda Daijiro sneaked out with a knife in his hand. Makitaka ran to cover the girl while Yamada caught the man sitting inside the vehicle. Kawai ran after Yasuda Daijiro.
Kawai ran as fast as she could but couldn’t catch him. Minamoto came in and ran after the guy. Minamoto caught Daijiro and beat him up. The men were put behind bars, and the victim told Makitaka that knowing the criminals were caught would help her sleep better.
