Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Sandwich Guide: Recipe, Ingredients, and More

Scarlet and Violet follow up on Sword and Shield’s cooking tradition in picnics, by introducing us to sandwiches. Even though they are similar to Sword and Shield’s curry, sandwiches offer better bonuses and boost compared to their predecessor.

To start making sandwiches, you just need to set up a picnic. You can choose to make a sandwich with a recipe you have obtained from some NPC or without a recipe.

Your sandwich will grant you certain ‘Meal Powers’, that will give you different boosts even if you haven’t used a recipe. These boosts can increase your chances of meeting shiny Pokemon of a certain type, increase your drop rates, and so on.

Meal Powers Explained

Different ingredients and sandwiches will give you different boosts, based on the taste. Here’s a list of all meal powers you can get through sandwiches in Scarlet and Violet.

About Pokemon Scarlet and Violet – Game

Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet are role-playing games developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo and The Pokemon Company. The game released on November 18, 2022, and marks the beginning of the ninth generation in the Pokemon Franchise.

Introducing 107 new pokemon and an open-world landscape, the game takes place in the Paldea region. Players can choose from three separate stories. The game also introduces a new feature – Terastal phenomenon, which allows players to change the type of pokemon and transform them into their Tera Type.

The game has sold over 10 million units in the first three days of its release.
