Pokemon SV: Locating Bronzor and Bronzor Fragments – Easy Guide

Bronzor is a Steel-Psychic type Pokemon that was first introduced in Generation 4. Bronzor appears in Generation 9’s Pokemon Scarlet and Violet and you’ll need to find it if you want to complete your Pokedex.

If you’re playing Pokemon Scarlet, Bronzor is of special importance, since you’ll need to defeat it if you want to collect Bronzor fragments. Bronzor fragments help evolve Charcadet into Armarouge. Alternatively, Bronzor itself can be evolved into Bronzong at level 33.

Bronzor can be found spawning among the ruins in East Province (Area 2), South Province (Areas 2, 3, 4, 5), and West Province (Areas 1, 2, 3). The best location to catch and farm Bronzors is in the South Province, in Areas 2 and 3.

Bronzer Locations

Bronzor is a commonly found Pokemon in Paldea and has a 60% encounter rate. Here’s an easy guide for you to find, farm, and get those fragments from Bronzor.

Step-by-Step Guide to Locating Bronzor and Acquiring Bronzor Fragments:

Look for Ruins on the Map

Since Bronzor is so easily found, your best bet is opening the map and looking for ruins closest to you. Ruins look like tiny scattered dark rubble on the map.

What Ruins look like on the Map

So, if you’re at Mezagoza, you can head right to the ruins in South Province Area 3. You can also head left into South Province Area 2, to the two sets of ruins near the Grand Olive Orchard.

If you’re already in the West Province, simply head on over to the Watchtower in Area 1, which is a great place you can fast travel to and from whenever you need to farm more Bronzors.

If you’re in the East, there are a reliable set of ruins between the Pokemon Center in East Province Area 2 and the city of Levincia.

Set the ruins of your choice as your destination and use your mount to get to it.

Catch and Farm Bronzors

Take rounds across and around the ruins. You should be able to spot a hovering Bronzer pretty easily. You can catch the Bronzor by using the Auto Battle feature if your Pokemon are strong enough or manually fight and catch Bronzer.

Farming Bronzors is simple since there are so many locations Bronzor spawns in. Although Bronzor is not a set spawn, you can leave and re-enter an area to find some spawns or just travel to another set of ruins. But most players have found that they can farm plenty of Bronzors from the same spot.

The best area for this, as mentioned, is in the South Province, either near the Grand Olive Orchard in Area 2, or go a little right from the Area 3 location on the map.

Catch and defeat as many Bronzors as you can and keep moving about so more Bronzors can spawn. Bronzor has a high spawn rate so take advantage and defeat as many as you can.

Farm Bronzor Fragments

A Bronzor Fragment is used as a material to make Technical Machines or TMs like TM092 Imprison, TM104 Iron Defense, TM121 Heavy Slam, and TM161 Trick Room. It can also be traded for special items like Armors.

Defeating a Bronzor is the best way to collect Bronzor Fragments. The more Bronzors you defeat, the more Bronzor Fragments you can farm. Use a Pokemon with good Ghost, Dark, and Fire moves for a sure shot at taking down Bronzor.

How to evolve Charcadet in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet?

Once you have at least 10 Bronzor Fragments, you can trade them with a non-playable character at Zapapico in exchange for an evolution item called Auspicious Armor. This Armor can then be used to evolve Charcadet into Armarouge.

You can only use Bronzor Fragments to evolve Charcadet in Pokemon Scarlet. Armarouge is a Scarlet exclusive. For Pokemon Violet, you can collect Sinistea Chips and exchange them for Malicious Armor to evolve Charcadet into Ceruledge, who is a Violet exclusive.

Note that Charcadet cannot evolve in the normal method by levelling up. Depending on whether you’re playing Pokemon Scarlet or Pokemon Violet, you need different Armor to evolve it.
