Netflix streamed a new English-dubbed trailer for ‘Pokémon Horizons: The Series,’ revealing that the anime will premiere on March 7, following a delay. The Pokémon Company had originally announced that the anime would debut on Netflix in the U.S. on February 23.
The trailer introduces us to Liko and Roy, the two protagonists, and shows a glimpse of their adventures together. Additionally, new characters are revealed in the trailer, and more Pokemon are featured from Generation VII to Generation IX.
The anime features Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly from the Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet video games. Legendary Pokémon Rayquaza is also featured in its Shiny form.
The show features new characters, Friede and Captain Pikachu, a Pokémon professor and Pokémon partner duo, and battle alongside Liko and Roy.
‘Pokemon Horizon’ features elements from Generation IX, including Paldea region and Rising Volt Tacklers, adapted from Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

About Pokemon Horizons: The Series
Pokemon Horizons: The Series is a new project in the Pokemon Franchise that features a whole new story after the conclusion of the journey of the previous protagonist, Ash Ketchum. The anime will adapt elements from the game Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet.
Liko from the Paldea region and Roy from the Kanto region join the Rising Volt Tacklers led by Friede and Captain Pikachu. They are joined by Orla, Mollie, Murdock, and Ludlow. Together, they explore the world in an airship.
On their way, they will encounter a trio called the Explorers with Amethio, Zir, and Conia as its members, and Nidothing, a popular streamer.
