Pokemon GO Halloween 2024 Event: How rare is Shiny Spiritomb? How to get it?

Trick or Treat! Halloween is just around the corner, and for Pokémon GO players, this is the perfect opportunity to catch some elusive ghost Pokémon. That’s right! Every year, the Halloween event introduces exciting new ghost and psychic Pokémon, and this year is no exception.

The event also means that one of the rarest Pokémon, Spiritomb, has returned for a limited time in the game. If you’ve been hoping to snag its shiny form, now is your chance!

1. How rare is Shiny Spiritomb in Pokemon GO?

Shiny Spiritomb is one of the rarest pokemon in Pokemon GO because it can only be obtained once a year during the Halloween event. Players have a chance to encounter the shiny variant once out of 64 encounters.

Pokémon of normal rarity have a shiny encounter rate ranging from one in 500 to 1,000, making it quite challenging to find a shiny variant. On the other hand, legendaries and certain exceptionally rare Pokémon boast a higher shiny rate, but pinpointing them can be tough.

In contrast to last year’s events, where Spiritomb was exclusively available through research tasks, this year presents players with a broader array of chances to get this rare Halloween Pokémon.

2. How to get Shiny Spiritomb in Pokemon GO?
