The final episode of Pokémon: Ultimate Journeys just aired yesterday. For those who did not watch it yet, you will get a little surprise! On the other hand, if you have been waiting for the new series, that is understandable.
New characters, new pokémon, and new adventures are on their way to take you back to the world we explored with Ash Ketchum, Brock, Misty, Tracey, Professor Oak, May, Max, and other trainers and researchers.
On Friday, The Pokémon Company released a new promotional video for the anime that previews the opening song. Moreover, the English title for the series has been revealed to be Pokémon Horizons: The Series.
The trailer mainly shows Liko and her pokémon partner Sprigatito. Other characters like Friede and Captain Pikachu, Orla, Mollie, Murdock, Amethio, Ludlow, and Nidothing also make a brief appearance.
Roy also appears running out of the house and holding a strange pokéball with antique artwork on it.
The opening song playing in the background is “Dokimeki Diary” by asmi feat. chinozo.

Overall, this series looks really different from what we have watched until now. One notable thing is that instead of a lonely journey, this looks more like an organized team expedition which makes sense for children who would explore the world and catch pokémon.
About Pokemon Horizons: The Series
Pokemon Horizons: The Series is a new project in the Pokemon Franchise that features a whole new story after the conclusion of the journey of the previous protagonist, Ash Ketchum. The anime will adapt elements from the game Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet.
Liko from the Paldea region and Roy from the Kanto region join the Rising Volt Tacklers led by Friede and Captain Pikachu. They are joined by Orla, Mollie, Murdock, and Ludlow. Together, they explore the world in an airship.
On their way, they will encounter a trio called the Explorers with Amethio, Zir, and Conia as its members, and Nidothing, a popular streamer.
