Pokemon 2019 Episode 86: Release Date, Speculation, Watch Online

The latest episode of Pokemon 2019 was titled “The Rival Showdown! Satoshi vs. Saito!!” and was the eighty-fifth installment in the series. 

Satoshi and Saito come face to face in a third match. This match will determine who will face the all-time champion, Dande, for the number one spot. As the battle begins, we see how Satoshi and Lucario are on the same wavelength, which results in their dynamic being praised by Dande and Saito. 

Who will win the showdown and challenge the champion for his title? We’ll find out in the next chapter. 

Episode 86 Speculation

In episode eighty-five, we see how Satoshi tries to make Lucario evolve, but the Pokemon objects to it. Dande, who was observing their match, commented that this kind of bond was rare since the Pokemon stopped its trainer from making mistakes. 

He predicts that Satoshi will emerge victorious due to his connection with the Pokemon. Whoever wins, one thing’s for sure. This battle will keep everyone on the edge of their seats and will certainly not be an easy win. 

Episode 86 Release Date

Episode 86 of the Pokemon 2019 anime has been released on Friday, Nov 05, 2021. The episode title or preview has not been shown.

Pokemon 2019 is not on a break and will continue as per schedule. No such delay has been announced.

Episode 85 Recap

Satoshi has finally made it to 64th place in the Pokémon world Championship in the Hyper Class, and his next opponent is the Galar Gym Leader Saito. 

Before their matchup in the Pokémon World Championship, the two have already fought it out in the superclass. During their first match, Satoshi’s Riolu was no match for Saito’s Otosupus and his Aqua Break move.

In their second match up, Riolu and Satoshi are better prepared than the last time, and the match ends in a draw with both Riolu and Otosupus knocking out each other. The stakes and the excitement for their third match are even higher.

The third match is scheduled to occur at the Galar Lateral Stadium, Saito’s home stadium. Satoshi and Goh visit the arena to prepare for Satoshi’s match. When they enter the arena, they are greeted by the sight of Saito training with all her Pokémon. 

When she notices the duo, she stops the training and greets Satoshi as “trainer of Riolu.” With a coy smile, Satoshi reveals that Riolu has now evolved into Lucario along with all his other Pokemons. 

Saito extends an offer to train together but is turned down as the duo meets Corni. Corni arrives a bit late, and how seeing her, they wonder if she might hate Saito as the latter had called her a “soft girl.” 

Their worries turn out to be no as Corni and Saito are good friends, and they both like each other’s company. The four of them sit down and enjoy the sweets brought by Corni and Saito and finish most of the Kunoe Chocolate.

On the following day of the match, both contenders are introduced as the crowd cheers them on. Saito ranks 30th and is equipped with the Daimax band (as the stadium is a daimax power spot), while Satoshi, ranked 64th, much to the surprise of everyone, picks Mega evolution over his Z move. 

The match starts with Saito choosing Otosupus while Satoshi chooses Pikachu. The start favors Satoshi as Pikachu uses Lightning Speed as a decoy and catches Otosupus in the Electroweb. Ostospus struggles to get out, and Pikachu uses an Iron Tail, ignoring the Electroweb. Otosupus catches Pikachu and gives him a good beating forcing Satoshi to call forth Lucario instead of Pikachu. 

Lucario uses shadow clones to surround Otosupus, but it is countered with a spinning Aqua Break. The true Lucario using this comes behind Otosupus and launches an Aura Sphere. Saito calls back Otosupus and sends in Luchabull. Lucario and Luchabull are evenly matched in their power and speed, following which Luchabull uses God Bird and injures Lucario. 

Lucario continues to stand, and Saito sends in Kairiky, a super offensive Pokemon. Lucario proves no match for Kairiky, forcing Satoshi to consider using Mega Evolution. Lucario stops him, stunning everyone around. 

At this moment, the current Pokémon World Championship Monarch Dande explains how the deep bond between Lucario and Satoshi allowed Lucario to stop Satoshi from making a mistake. The episode ends with both Satoshi and Saito claiming that they will be the ones to battle Dande for the number one spot.
