Pokémon 2019 Episode 49: Release Date, Predictions, Watch Online

After an intense appetizing fight of the Eating Contest, Go and Satoshi visits Hiun City for Isshu all-you-can-eat food tour.

As they enjoyed the prize of winning the Pokémon Eating Contest, Team Rocket was on to their evil plans again.

This time, Nyarth became creative and created Pikachu’s mechanical replication with the exact same appearance and features.

As Team Rocket plans to secretly switch out the real Pikachu with Pretty-Much-Pikachu, Aceburn and Lucario catch them red-handed.

1. Episode 49 Release Date

Episode 49 of the Pokémon Journeys: The Series anime, titled “Koharu and the Mysterious Mysterious Eievui”, has been released on Friday, Dec 11, 2020.

2. Episode 49 Preview

Go and Satoshi visit Koharu, and they notice that Koharu has a new Pokémon, Eevee, with her this time. She reveals that it looked like she was being chased, so she decided to keep her and protect her from bad guys.

Actually, it was Team Rocket, and they were back with their evil plan. This time they appeared with a big machine and tried to capture all the Pokémon by sucking them into it.

3. Episode 48 Recap

Satoshi and Go have arrived at Hiun City, in Isshu to celebrate their victory at the Pokémon Eating Contest. To put the all-you-can-eat gourmet food card to use with their empty bellies, they start off with Isshu’s famous Hiun Ice Cream.

However, Team Rocket is one step ahead of them. They arrive at Hiun City before the Satoshi and Go, and they already know that the boys will eat Hiushi Ice Cream, so they get a plan ready accordingly with Nyarth’s Pretty-Much-Pikachu.

Pretty-Much-Pikachu is a mech with everything the same as Pikachu, however, Nyarth could not replicate Pikachu’s voice. So instead, it says “Hikachu” rather than “Pikachu.”

As Satoshi and Go arrive at their van to buy ice cream, they provide them extra topping on their ice cream. While Satoshi and Go struggle to manage that hard-to-eat ice cream, they replace the real Pikachu with Pretty-Much-Pikachu.

However, their operation: Swap Pikachu and Pretty-Much-Pikachu, breaks down as they snatch the wrong Pikachu and Aceburn and Lucario send Team Rocket flying.

The twenty-third season of the Pokémon animated series is known as Pocket in Japan and internationally as Pokémon Journeys: The Series. The season premiered on November 17, 2019, on TV Tokyo in Japan.

This season follows the adventures of Ash Ketchum and the new protagonist Goh as they travel across all eight regions of the Pokémon franchise, including the new Galar region from Pokémon Sword and Shield.

Supporting characters include Professor Cerise, a Pokémon researcher who oversees Ash and Goh’s missions, and his daughter Chloe, Goh’s childhood friend.
