To understand Pokémon is to understand the world, and Go and Satoshi went on to their next adventure to Cello Island. Psychic energy thought to belong to one Pokémon who is said to hold the genes of all Pokémon, Mew, had been detected there.
But to their surprise, the psychic energy belonged to Mewtwo, not Mew.
Go and Satoshi are frail, fleeting, and immature, but that is exactly why they possess infinite potential.
Their fight with Mewtwo has fired them to reach their goals, and as we follow them on their next adventure, here are updates on the next chapter of Pokémon 2019.
1. Episode 47 Release Date
Episode 47 of the Pokémon Journeys: The Series anime, titled “Pokémon Champion! Gluttony King Decision Battle!!”, has been released on Friday, Nov 27, 2020.
I. Is Pokémon on Break This Week?
On September 13, 2020, it was announced that anime would switch from airing on Sundays to Fridays following October 9, 2020.
Since then, new episodes are regularly broadcast on Fridays and the next episode will, too, stick to the schedule with no delay.
2. Episode 47 Preview
Go and Satoshi will be visiting Kuchiba City and will be witnessing the Pokémon Eating Contest for which it is famous for attracting fierce competition.
It seems that even Team Rocket will be partaking in this and are headed straight for the victory road. The prize for winning the competition must be that compelling.
Jessie, James and Meowth can be seen actively taking part in the competition activities, and again they must be in pursuit of something evil.
3. Episode 46 Recap
Go and Satoshi are back in Sakuragi Institute, where Professor Sakuragi informs them of the detection of psychic energy, which is believed to belong to Mew.
On learning that Professor has two tickets ready, Go and Satoshi immediately leave for Cello Island.
On reaching the mysterious isle, they encounter many kinds of Pokémon and Go even manages to catch a lot of them. While crossing a river, they get attacked by Gyarados and drift off to a mysterious place.
There they encounter a cute Pokemon, but it gets scared of them and runs off. Satoshi and Go follow the Pokemon, which in turns leads them to Mewtwo.
They share their dreams with Mewtwo and desire to catch Mewtwo as it is also a Pokémon. Mewtwo accepts the challenge, but even together, Satoshi and Go could not defeat it.
Mewtwo, however, acknowledges the bond Go and Satoshi have with each other and their Pokemon and even teleports them back to Sakuragi Institute.

5. About Pokemon 2019
The twenty-third season of the Pokémon animated series is known as Pocketin Japan and internationally as Pokémon Journeys: The Series. The season premiered on November 17, 2019, on TV Tokyo in Japan.
This season follows the adventures of Ash Ketchum and the new protagonist Goh as they travel across all eight regions of the Pokémon franchise, including the new Galar region from Pokémon Sword and Shield.
Supporting characters include Professor Cerise, a Pokémon researcher who oversees Ash and Goh’s missions, and his daughter Chloe, Goh’s childhood friend.
