The Black Night or Mugendaina is unleashed and its full revival is near. Chairman Rose has revealed his true nature and evil intentions behind the veil of Galar’s future to Satoshi and Dande.
While they fight to stop Mugendaina to break hell in Galar, Sonia and Go found a very precious relic that may save Galar city from this crisis.
With the revival of the Black Night and the Legend of the Hero, fans are curious about how Satoshi and Go will tackle this. Till we wait for our two heroes to save the day, here are the updates on the next episode of Pokemon Journeys: The Series.
1. Episode 45 Release Date
Episode 44 of the Pokemon Journeys: The Series anime, titled “Sword and Shield IV: The Ultimate Sword and Shield”, has been released on Friday, Nov 13, 2020.
I. Is Pokemon on Break This Week?
On September 13, 2020, it was announced that anime would switch from airing on Sundays to Fridays following October 9, 2020.
Since then, new episodes are regularly broadcast on Fridays and the next episode will, too, stick to the schedule with no delay.
2. Episode 45 Preview
Satoshi fights Chairman Rose with Pikachu and Riolu to stop him from being in the way of Dande. Meanwhile, Go duels with Olive, who is stopping him from reaching Mugendaina.
It seems Go successfully makes it through, but Mugendaina is fully revived and Dande couldn’t catch him before that.
For all the Humans and Pokemon of Galar, Satoshi and Go are determined to stop Mugendaina and the two heroes from the legend may lend a helping hand in some way.
3. Episode 44 Recap
Daimax Rabbitfoot defeats Daimax Dustdas and Go wins his first Daimax battle. On taking a closer look at the statue, Go finds out that the statue is the Pokemon he came across in Slumbering Weald and they were involved in the Legend of the Heroes.
Sonia and Go head back to Slumbering Weald to get aid from the heroes of the last Black Night. There, Zacian and Zamazenta show the way to the Sword and the Shield used in saving Galar City.
Meanwhile, Mugendaina breaks free and makes Nyarth diamax and goes on a rampage. Chairman Rose reveals his true intentions and sees Dande go against his plans.
He tries to stop him with his Pokemon and Satoshi stalls Chairman Rose and his Pokemon, while Dande leaves to catch and seal Mugendaina.

5. About Pokemon Journeys: The Series
The twenty-third season of the Pokémon animated series is known as Pocketin Japan and internationally as Pokémon Journeys: The Series. The season premiered on November 17, 2019, on TV Tokyo in Japan.
This season follows the adventures of Ash Ketchum and the new protagonist Goh as they travel across all eight regions of the Pokémon franchise, including the new Galar region from Pokémon Sword and Shield.
Supporting characters include Professor Cerise, a Pokémon researcher who oversees Ash and Goh’s missions, and his daughter Chloe, Goh’s childhood friend.
