Satoshi went to the battlefield in episode 118 of Pokemon 2019, titled “Satoshi Heads into Battle VS Daigo.”
It was an intense battle, just as expected. What was more interesting was to see Pikachu fight again after a very long time. It was not an easy win for Satoshi, but it was known that he would win anyhow.
The battle played out well, Daigo was a tough competitor, but he failed to surpass the protagonist power of Satoshi. The fight ended in Satoshi’s favor, but a tougher battle is on its way for him.

We will find more about Koharu and Eevee in episode 119 of Pokemon 2019, titled “Koharu and Eevee- The Magic of Evolution!”
The next episode is a filler, so you might skip it if you want to. We will get some Koharu and Eevee adventure in the next episode. I am happy to get to see more of their cute bonding.
Eevee doesn’t evolve, but it looks like it will get some major upgrade in the next episode. Let’s wait and watch.

Episode 118 Recap
Daigo and Satoshi faced each other for their place in the semifinals of the championship. They dived right into the battle without wasting any time.
Satoshi started with Uonoragon and Daigo with Metagross. They both lock their horns and fight fiercely. Satoshi is glad for the training he had with Shinji. That helped his pokemons a lot.
After some time, Daigo pulls Metagross back and sends in Bossgodra. Bossgodra completely overpowers Uonoragon. Uonoragon tries hard but is ultimately defeated.
Satoshi sends in Ganger next. After a furious battle, Ganger holds his ground well against Bossgodra and manages to defeat Bossgodra. Daigo sends in Yuradle next.
Yuradle traps Ganger in its tentacles and starts absorbing his powers. Ganger feels powerless against Yuradle. He manages to fight back but fails to win over Yuradle.
Satoshi sends Pikachu next. Pikachu holds his ground well against Yuradel and manages to defeat it. Daigo sends Metagross again, and this time, he mega evolves Metagross making it almost impossible for Pikachu to do any harm to him.
Satoshi now decides to use the Z-move. This gives Pikachu a complete advantage over Metagross, and they finally defeat Metagross in a grand way.
Satoshi has now qualified for the semifinals and will face Shirona to enter the finals.
