Satoshi took the help of Gekkouga to train Lucario in episode 108 of Pokemon 2019, titled “Lucario and Gekkouga. The Aura of Destiny.”
This episode was wholly dedicated to training for the promotion battle with Lucario as the main character here. Lucario evolved in this episode but not before much effort and hard work.
Gekkouga played a major role in this episode. He motivated Lucario and trained him to reach the desired level of power and aura.

The final promotion battle between Satoshi and Kibana will finally begin in episode 109 of Pokemon 2019, titled “VS Kibana! The Battle for the Master’s Eight!!”
We got an episode completely dedicated to training showing just how important this battle is for both Kibana and Gou. Both of them will bet their lives to win this match. Now it’s time for the final battle, and I can’t wait to see them in action.

Episode 108 Recap
Everyone is excited about the upcoming final promotion battle. Even Dande thinks that this match will be something everyone should make an effort to enjoy. Koharu and Gou go out to find Satoshi, who is training hard with his pokemons.
Lucario is trying hard as he wants to get stronger. So is Keromatsu. While fighting Evee, he evolves into Gekogashira. Seeing him evolve, Satoshi decides to take Lucario to Gekkouga.
Gekkouga lives in Kalos region. Lucario’s aura reminds Satoshi of Gekkouga, so he thought it would be best for Lucario to train with him.
Kibana’s fans are excited about his match and want him to win the match. Ever since he lost to Dande, he cannot forget the regret he faced that day. From then on, he started taking selfies every day.
When Satoshi and Gou reach Kalos, they cannot find Gekkouga. At night, Satoshi feels Gekkouga’s aura nearby. Lucario goes out to find him but is attacked by some weird branches. Gekkouga shows up at the right time and starts fighting those branches.
Satoshi shows up too, and he immediately feels a connection with Gekkouga. They together defeat those branches. Satoshi asks Gekkouga to help him teach Lucario. Gekkouga easily defeats Lucario, making him sad, and Lucario runs away.
Gekkouga approaches him and teaches him how to control and generate his aura. Lucario grabs it quickly, and they go back together.
Satoshi and Gou are attacked by the branches again, and Lucario and Gekkouga show up and start fighting it. Satoshi can now feel Lucario’s aura too. Lucario mega evolves and wins the battle against the branches.
They thank Gekkouga, and he leaves. The much-awaited battle is about to begin.
