Pokemon 2019 Episode 87: Release Date, Speculation, Watch Online

The latest episode of Pokemon 2019 was titled “The Rival Showdown! Satoshi vs. Saito!!” and was the eighty-fifth installment in the series.

Satoshi and Saito are face-to-face in a third match. Satoshi wins, earning the respect of both Dande and Saito. His bond with his pocket monsters goes beyond trainer and Pokemon, which is truly special and rare.

We saw how Lucario refused to evolve in a previous battle, sensing Satoshi’s lack of judgment. This kind of mutual relationship surprised Dande, who predicted that ask would win the match.

Who will Satoshi face next in the road to become the champion? We’ll find out in the next chapter.

Episode 87 Speculation

In episode eighty-six, we see Satoshi win against Saito in their intense battle between Lucario’s mega evolution and Kairiky’s Kyodaimax. Satoshi rises through the ranks and attains the 36th position in the hyper class. The road to face Dande is still long, and it will be exciting to see his next opponent.

In the next episode, we’ll meet a new transfer student and her Pokemon Glacia.

Episode 87 of the Pokemon Journeys: The Series anime, titled “The Ice Queen and Glacia”, has been released on Friday, Nov 12, 2021.

Pokemon 2019 is not on a break and will continue as per schedule. No such delay has been announced.

Episode 86 Recap

Satoshi is currently rank 64. For his second battle, he faces Saito, the Galar gym leader. He battled her twice before and met one loss, and one match ended in a draw. In the middle of their third match, the stadium receives a visit from the current champion, Dande, and the stakes are raised.

The battle resumes, Lucario blocks Kairiky using his legs. Satoshi chooses Negigaknight next, who takes a stance that combines both attack and defense. Negigaknight uses consecutive cuts with is countered by Kairiky’s bullet punch, but Negigaknight pushes him back. Saito calls back Kairiky and goes with Luchabull.

Luchabull begins his attack with a flying press, and Negigaknight uses a crossroad kill. Luchabull dodges the attack, but Negigaknight uses his brutal swing to throw his shield at his opponent. Luchabull avoids the second attack as well. Luchabull unleashes a deadly attack and throws Negigaknight to the ground. Not being able to handle the onslaught, Negigaknight is unable to battle.

Saito takes the first point, and Satoshi remains with only two Pokemons. To replace Negigaknight, Satoshi sends in his Pikachu. Satoshi asks Pikachu to bury this tail in the ground. As Luchabull launches towards him, the power of lightning speed makes Pikachu’s body shake, creating an electric field around him. His electricity takes the God Bird, who takes heavy damage.

Pikachu finally defeats Luchabull using his 100,000 volts attack. The trainers are now tied 1-1. Saito sends in Otosupus again, and Pikachu keeps going. Otosupus traps Pikachu and strikes him. Pikachu is unable to counter and soon becomes unable to fight.

Lucario makes a return and defeats Otosupus in a single blow. Now, they both have only one Pokemon left. It’s Lucario vs. Kairiky once again.

Saito expresses how she hasn’t been this excited for a match in so long and decides to use Kyodaimax Kairiky. Satoshi also makes Lucario mega evolve, who is evenly matched with Kairiky.

Lucario hits Kairiky with his aura sphere and manages to transform him back to his standard form. Lucario’s steely resolve erupts and defeats Kairiky.

The fierce battle is over, and Satoshi emerges victorious. He also rises to rank 36 in the hyper class. Dande is impressed and says that he wishes to see more. Saito congratulates Satoshi, and they promise to battle again someday.
