Pokemon’s anime released season 23, titled Pokemon: The Series, last year in November. The new season revamps the way the show operates.
Not only does it expand the regions covered in the season from a few, to all introduced areas thus far, but it also adds a brand new protagonist – Gou, who is on the path to catch every Pokemon just like our dear Ash Ketchum.
In the English-dub department, The Pokemon Company recently released an English trailer for the 23rd season of the show.
Additionally, it announced that some deals were signed with streaming platforms, and Pokemon season 23 will be available on Netflix(US) starting 12th June.

Starting 12th June, the first 12 episodes of Pokemon’s 23rd season will be available on Netflix in the US. The show will also be available on Sony-owned Pop streaming service in the UK.
However, the release date hasn’t yet been confirmed. As seen, or instead heard, in the trailer, the opening theme for the English dub will be performed by a Canadian Indie Pop band named Walk off the Earth.
23 episodes have been released so far in the Japanese dub of Pokemon: The Series. Future episodes, however, are currently on a break due to production issues caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
About Pokemon
Pokemon, first released in 1996, is set up in a world where humans catch monsters and store them in pocket-sized poke-balls, thus the name Pocket Monsters or Pokemon.
They are creatures with an affinity to certain elements and some superhuman abilities related to that particular element.
Revolving around a teenage boy Ash Ketchum, it takes us through his journey to becoming the most accomplished Pokemon trainer the world has ever seen.
