Mirai isn’t interested in becoming God, so Nasse tells him that only God gets to keep using divine powers for all eternity, other candidates have to relinquish theirs.

So to keep using them and become happy, Mirai should take this contest of becoming God seriously, right?

On the news, a comedian called Tonma Rodriguez is announced to have been dating five women and being popular with many more. But he sees an angel hovering over him, that no one else can see.

Mirai concludes that Rodriguez is a God candidate and is using the red arrow to force those women to love him. He feels sorry for them and wants to put a stop to it.

Later a masked and armored figure is seen shooting Rodriguez with a white arrow and then flying away after sprouting wings. Mirai goes to study for the entrance exam where he sees the news of Rodriguez’s death.

As Mirai walks the street with Nasse hovering, the news reports robbers having taken people at the bank hostage, threatening to kill one every five minutes unless they’re given a getaway helicopter. The masked figure, actually wearing a superhero costume arrives.

He calls himself Metropoliman and at first seeks to use the red arrow only to contain the situation but as the second robber tries to kill him twice he ends up using the white arrow.

He also announces that he has eleven foes left to vanquish, meaning the other God candidates.

Mirai orders Nasse to get away from him to avoid suspicion and possibly death. He later asks the angel to take away his powers but Nasse tells him that would mean death.

Nasse suggests he stays inside but that would contradict Mirai’s goal to live happily. So Mirai decides to go attend his highschool introductory ceremony.

On the other end, Metropoliman is shown to be a cocky high school student. Mirai gets ready to go to school and Nasse advices him to call for her if he needs and to shoot his crush with the red arrow and then actually make her fall in love with him in 33 days.

Mirai arrives at school but he sees an angel in the courtyard. He decides to act normal so that he doesn’t get spotted, but the angel flies down to him and looks him in the eye.

Can he still ignore the angel he sees eye to eye?
