Episode 12 Recap

Kanade is sick and tired of Mirai’s naive “I must kill no one” attitude. As Mirai stands face to face with the bioweapon lady, Mukaido can think of nothing that might save the boy.

Metropoliman tells them the dumbest thing they could’ve done in front of him was shoot each other with red arrows. Either Mirai gets jabbed with the human melting chemical, or everyone in the world dies.

Mirai shoots the virus-filled ball with his white arrow, and the virus dies. He still can’t kill the woman even as Mukaido eggs him on. Losing his strength, he drops to the ground but picks up a rifle.

Metropoliman shoots a white arrow at Mirai, and syringes full of human melting chemical fly at him. To dodge, he would have to let go of her hand, which he can’t. Seeing things go south for Mirai, Saki flies over to shield him.

Seeing that Saki is in danger, Hajime moves forward and cuts the wires that control the syringes except for one. His Katana kills the bioweapon lady, but the needle pierces him. He melts away, and Saki gets his pair of arrows and wings.

Metropoliman insists that Mirai’s indecisiveness killed Hajime, and then he goes on to call his dead underlings idiots. The child god-candidate he recruited flies away because he doesn’t want to die. In the end, Metropoliman is left alone.
