Asahi and Niyodo go out for some training in episode 2 of Phantom of the Idol.
It was a hilarious episode. Niyodo reluctant to train, and Asahi always being in high spirits. They just make the perfect duo. Asahi always gets carried away while Niyodo’s body leaves him tired, poor Niyodo.
We also find out that Niyodo has a photographic memory and can learn anything all at once. When it’s time to perform, we see some pretty jarring CGI but also a lot of fans. It will be hard to get used to the CGI during their performances but let’s see if they keep on with it or not.
Here are the latest updates.
Episode 3 Speculations
Things were about to take a turn by the end of the episode, but Niyodo managed to save the day. It turns out he is a complete dirtbag who is just using Asahi to make things easier for himself. Let’s see how far he goes with that attitude.
Well, it is pretty obvious that he will go through some development to stop thinking the way he does and start looking at Asahi a little differently. Till that happens, Asahi has to deal with his arrogance and rudeness. He is not that bad anyway, so it will be funny to see what happens next.

Asahi forcefully woke up Niyodo to go for the dance practice. He is reluctant to go for the practice, but Asahi is somehow able to convince him. After he gets ready, she gets inside his body and practices the living hell out of it.
He gets exhausted after the practice. His coworkers are shocked to see him being so energetic. After the practice, Niyodo is very tired, but Asahi is still ever ready to practice for an extra eight hours. She even motivates him to carry out the practice by himself for the rest of the day.
During practice, she is surprised to see Niyodo being able to do all the steps by himself. It is revealed that Niyodo has a photographic memory, and he is able to learn anything really fast. Asahi gets even more excited after this.
The next morning she tells Niyodo to practice by themselves voluntarily. The same night, they have their performance, and Yoshino tells Niyodo that they have a large audience this time.
Asahi gets ready to enter Niyodo’s body, but she is not able to enter his body, meaning he has to perform by himself today. He is shocked to see a large number of fans gathered for him.
They give a good performance, and Asahi is very much satisfied with it. When they are heading home, Asahi feels very happy and praises Niyodo thinking that even if he is rude, he is actually a good person in many ways.
She starts to fade away, telling him that more than being an idol, she now wants to see him become a popular idol. He freaks out and tries to convince her not to leave and be with him.
He tells her that together they will become the best idols. She gets convinced thinking that Niyodo is a good person when he only wants her to be with him so that he doesn’t have to work.
