We reached the final stage in episode 10 of Phantom of the Idol.
The anime has ended its short run. It was the last episode, but I still found the CGI dance funny and weird. The songs also weren’t memorable, and Niyodo hasn’t got much development.
This episode was an out-and-out performance show. Zings performed all their hit songs, and the audience loved all of them. They also shared their early experiences and how they are linked with their songs.
They have indeed come a long way. Here are the latest updates (there are no latest updates)
Episode 11 Speculations
Phantom of the Idol anime ended with episode 10, and looking at the reception it got and the overall quality, there isn’t much hope for another season of this anime.
However, Asahi’s quest isn’t over yet as she wants ZINGS! to become BTS, i.e., the number one Idol group in the world. Fans expect the story to continue, but it all depends on the reception this series got in Japan.
I just hope fans’ wishes will come true.

Phantom of the Idol (Kami Kuzu Idol) is a supernatural comedy manga by Hijiki Isoflavone. It began serialization in December 2017 in Ichijinsha’s Comic Zero Sum and has been licensed by Kodansha Comics.
The story is about the lazy Yuuya Niyodo, who’s a part of the idol duo ZINGS. One day after a sloppy performance, Yuuya encounters Asahi Mogami, a cheerful female idol. The twist is that Asahi has been dead for a year, and this turns Yuuya’s life upside-down.
