If you don’t know already, Peachboy Riverside bases heavily on the folklore of Momotarou, the peach boy. The story is about how an old couple found Momotarou inside a giant peach by the river, and how Momotarou helped the world get rid of monsters.
Mangaka Coolkyoushinja relays that every person is Momotarou on the inside and can easily conquer their own evil.
He lets his protagonist Sally shine with this ideology and shows Sally eyes burning with a little peach flame, burning with the desire to get rid of evil.
So, let’s wait and see how cool the anime turns out.
