Episode 5 Recap
In Episode 5, Sally and his team come across a town where a vampire is suspected of targeting beautiful girls.
However, the vampire isn’t the only thing that scares them; they are terribly afraid of demihumans, thanks to the stories passed on from generations.
As you can imagine, Frau is discriminated against, looked down upon, and treated like some kind of freak. Thus, Carrot gets upset at how Sally ignores the evil deeds of humans but punishes ogres when they do the same.
Burning with anger, Carrot takes Sally away from them and tries to explain what a threat Sally can become in the future. However, it seems that Frau has ultimate faith in Sally, and she has faith in her.
With no other option left, Carrot approaches an ogre named, Kyuketsuki, and asks him to kill everyone in the town. The idea of fighting someone with the peach eye fascinates him, so he decides to start the slaughtering with Sally.
Just as he was about to set out on his rampage, Frau shows up and tries to stop him. The fight goes on for a while, and then she was blasted in half by Kyuketsuki’s cannon.
Sally was too late when arrived, Frau has already been taken care of. She immediately unleashes her ogre-killing powers and starts fighting the infamous vampire with everything she has got.
Meanwhile, Frau asks for revival instead of rebirth in heaven. She believes that she can save her friends with one last trump card that she has kept under his sleeves all this time.
Immediately after rebirth, Frau takes a whole new form, which looks scariest, even among the monsters we have seen in the series so far. The transformation gives her huge black wings and scary eyes.
She took down Kyuketsuki just in one hit and falls unconscious immediately after it. The episode ends with the vampire narrating how he fell in love with a human and ended up killing her because of his ogre instincts.
