Star Wars Outlaws is scheduled to release on August 30th. Just by the looks of it, you can say it is simply breathtaking. Being an open-world, explorative game, it can be demanding on your setup. Since we are just a few days away from launch, check out whether you have the system to play or not.

Thanks to Ubisoft, upscaling is now a default setting in Star Wars Outlaws. Of course, there is a target resolution for every setting but you need some kind of upscaling tech to attain it.

Minimum

• Visual settings: 1080p/30 fps/Low preset with upscaler set to quality
• GPU: GeForce GTX 1660 6GB / AMD RX 5600 XT 6GB / Intel Arc a750 8GB (ReBAR ON)
• CPU: Intel Core i7-8700K / AMD Ryzen 5 3600
• RAM: 16GB (dual-channel mode)
• OS: Windows 10/11 with DirectX 12
• Storage: 65GB

As you can see, the minimum requirements are pretty modest. Even an NVIDIA GTX 16 Series card would suffice. You are looking at 1080p with a frame rate of 30fps. Not bad. However, to achieve those frame rates, you need an upscaler like DLSS, FSR, etc.

To run at 1440p, you need a loaded graphics card with at least 10GB RAM. Something like RTX 3080, RTX 4070 or AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT could work just fine.

Ultra

• Visual settings: 4K/60 fps/Ultra preset with upscaler set to quality
• GPU: GeForce RTX 4080 16GB / AMD RX 7900 XTX 24GB

About Star Wars Outlaws

Star Wars Outlaws is an upcoming action-adventure game developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft under license by Lucasfilm Games. The game will be set in the Star Wars universe, during the period between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi.

It is a single-player, third person action-adventure game set in the Star Wars universe. Set in an open world, the game will feature stealth and open combat, vehicle combat, space combat, and branching dialogue.
