Paul Bettany continues to tease the second big guest star on WandaVision, saying that it hasn’t been leaked and he’s long wanted to work with this actor.
The show is recognized for pulling unexpected moments, and one of the most surprising ones came at the end of episode 5 when Evan Peters’ Pietro emerged in Westview. But as Bettany has been teasing, they still have one more guest star that is yet to be revealed.
WandaVision episode 6 considerably changed the course of the show striding forward. Apart from Vision learning more about the actual situation of Westview, he also got his first look at the outside world as he struggled to come out of the Hex. This almost caused Vision’s demise yet again, indicating his true nature outside of the Hex. Wanda (who got a tip from Billy), however, was able to save her husband by expanding the Hex’s borders.
Besides all the unrest that’s presently happening in Westview, there still appears to be something else brewing in WandaVision. However, Bettany is still relentless in teasing this mystery character. In a new interview with Esquire, he stated,
“There is this theory that says there is some mysterious Avenger who is going to appear in WandaVision, and people seem to think that mysterious Avenger is Doctor Strange. Truth is, of all the characters that we were trying to keep secret, a lot of them got out through leaks. There is one character that has not been revealed and it is very exciting. It’s an actor I’ve longed to work with all of my life. We have some amazing scenes together, and the chemistry between us is, I think, extraordinary, and it was just fireworks on set. So I’m really excited for people to see that stuff.”

In how Bettany phrased his latest quote, it’s uncertain if he was conveying that the character in question is part of the Avengers movies. Mentioning Doctor Strange may be a possible clue. However, the future magician supreme won’t be the upcoming surprise performer.
There’s a reasonable probability that there might not even be a hero/villain in the MCU. The franchise is famous for its interconnected storytelling skills, with Avengers: Endgame evolving as a culmination of years of setup.
Before releasing WandaVision episode 7, Marvel Studios has rolled out a preview clip, teasing what to expect from the show. As expected, the sitcom-influenced Disney+ show is now in the 2010s, with its major inspiration being Modern Family. Scarlet Witch is tired out, which results in some glitches occurring in Westview. Intriguingly, Vision and Pietro were nowhere to be seen in the video.
