1. How does Palm Royale episode 9 end?
At the end of episode 9, Robert finds Norma dressed royally as a queen with a crown in one hand and a champagne glass in the other hand. Robert is amazed to see Norma alone, who smiles like she has been waiting for this night forever.
Then he asks her what she is doing, and Norma smirks back, saying, ‘All in time, Robert,’ before returning to her wheelchair.
Linda finds Mary plotting to kill the president at her place, only to divert her with baby tricks and kind words; unfortunately, the latter hits her using the cat statue.
Consequently, after a heated talk with Douglas, Maxine goes over to Herkimer, who has been practicing at the piano.
However, things also appear strange here after Herkimer kisses Maxine passionately, only for him to realize he misunderstood her gestures.
2. Who is going to be the Beach Ball Night Queen?
Back at the hospital, Ann finally wakes up, startled by her presence in a hospital nightgown. She creates an urgency to leave as the nurse tries to stop her since she has a tumor.
Ann dismisses any health issues, stating that she has a deadline and must leave immediately. Evelyn visits Eddie to ask him out to the Beach Ball night, as she understands what it feels like to be a partner kept hidden from the world (a reference to her initial relationship status with Skeet).
While Maxine prepares for the party, Douglas tries to make things right with his wife. But Maxine reminds him that she loves him the most. Even after hiding his affair with Mitzy, Douglas feels fortunate to have such a beautiful, kind, and understanding wife.
He tells her he cannot give up the mansion since Maxine is Norma’s conservator.
He needs her for any financial transactions. He is nothing without her and just a man with no brain, self-esteem, or gratitude for someone who loves him despite his wrong behavior or actions.
He then gives Maxine a beautiful, sparkling crown (similar to what could have been a pageant crown) for her to wear. While Maxine looks at herself with the crown, a sense of sadness also washes upon her despite waiting for this moment all her life.
Considering what took place between her and the astronaut, it seems unforgivable on her part as well. However, when things will come clean, will either of them forgive each other?
3. Who saves Maxine?
Maxine is still holding onto a log in the sea. She thinks her life will end. Then something very strange happens. An astronaut lands right next to Maxine in the water. His name is Herkimer. Maxine invites Herkimer to her beach ball party.
Douglas and Robert are in jail for being in a gay bar. They tried to call some people, but no one answered. FBI officer Tom shows them that Maxine is on TV after a handsome astronaut rescued her. Douglas then calls Mitzy, who comes to help them.
Meanwhile, we see Evelyn and Eddie on a romantic date night. It is going well for Evelyn. But then Dinah comes to Eddie’s place.
She says she is engaged to old Alex, so she can have Eddie back now. However, Eddie says no because Dinah hurt him before when she left him, even though he was loyal.
Dinah says to Eddie, “You must go away from my home right now.” Evelyn heard the two people fighting. She likes Eddie very much. But Evelyn does not have any money or a place for Eddie to cook food for them.
