Overwatch 2 has had a massive launch with over 25 million players in its first few weeks of launch. However, the game is still riddled with game-breaking bugs and glitches, leaving players frustrated. Recently, Bastion and Torbjörn were removed from the game after their abilities became much stronger due to some glitches. But Blizzard has finally given an answer on when they’re returning to the game.
Overwatch 2’s Commercial Leader Jon Spector tweeted on Twitter stating that Bastion, Torbjörn, and the map Junkertown will return to the game in all game modes on October 25th. Blizzard made a longer post on its forum stating that the next major update is also set for the 25th.
Fans of the characters are happy to hear the news, but some of them are still bitter about the current state of the game and the tweet was also flooded with replies questioning why patches are taking so long for Blizzard to implement.
Apart from hero lock-out bugs and other glitches, many players couldn’t even log into the game due to issues with the game’s server and queue.
Apparently, Bastion and Torbjörn aren’t the only heroes who have been found to be stronger due to glitches. A new video showed how Sombra could get inside the payload in the game which essentially ends up making her invulnerable to any damage.
Blizzard hasn’t been made aware of this issue yet, but hopefully, it will be solved after Bastion and Torbjörn come back.
Players are exploiting these glitches in order to gain a competitive advantage against other players and as long as Blizzard doesn’t do anything about it, the players will continue to do so. Hopefully, the major update which is coming on October 25th fixes some of the glaring issues of the game, if not all.
Overwatch 2 is available now on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch.

A major change in PvP was to reduce team sizes from six to five, which required several characters to be reworked.
