The developers behind, Outriders, People Can Fly finally released an update that fixes the game-breaking inventory wipe bug. The update is now live for PC, Playstation 4/ 5 and Xbox One/ X/ S.
The latest release of Outriders, from People Can Fly has gotten quite the traction as the co-op demo made a lot of noise and many people are awaiting the full release. Recently, a bug was found which seems to wipe players’ inventory including any rare items you collected.
On Monday, Square Enix, the Studio behind Outriders took to Reddit and Twitter to announce a new update that fixes all future Inventory wipe bugs and promised to sort out the issues of players who already faced the glitch.
Square Enix says all the items of the players will be restored soon but they did not give out an exact date. They would surely iron out all the issues before their full release of Outriders on April 1 2021.
Players who Faced the Inventory Wipe Bug
- Restoration should take place on a specific day and should be a one-time event
- Only Legendary items that have been lost as a result of this bug will be restored
- Items with rarity below Legendary will not be restored.
- No need to get in touch with support to report inventory disappearances that occurred prior to Monday March 15th.
The bug train does not end here as many players have reported that apart from inventory, their Allocades (banners, cosmetics, emotes etc.) have also vanished. The developers are still looking into it and have asked affected gamers to reply to their update thread.
Apart from the bug fixes, the developers are also adding/fixing other things as well. Expect to get better touchpad sensitivity, multiplayer connections and other improvements.
