In episode seven, titled “The Prince’s Apprenticeship,” Bojji and Kage requested Despa to make Bojji stronger after they met. Lady Miranjo used the elixir to resurrect someone using Daida.
Despa revealed that Bojji has no physical strength at all. He then decided to train Bojji with his given skills. Desha made Bojji select a weapon that suited him. Bojji trained for days along with other chores.
Kage heard a commotion and thought Bojji was in trouble. He got a peek of Bojji and was stunned by what he saw. In the end, Daida said a shocking statement seated at the throne.
What fate lies for Bojji with such a challenging turn of events? Let’s find out as we get you the latest episode updates of the anime.
Episode 8 Speculation and Discussion
Ousama Ranking keeps bringing unexpected turn of events as each episode comes by. At first, I thought Despa couldn’t precisely help Bojji, but seeing the vast bolder split apart was stunning.
Daida is now a new person, and in the last scene, it seems to be king Bosse. What will be revealed with Bosse back as king? Will we get to see Bojji’s training in the special room? The series grabs your attention, no doubt, and the excitement gets to you.
It was funny to see Despa and Kage talk seriously about Bojji being a giant to agree on not letting him cook again. With the plot getting intense, the series gives us an excellent adaptation of the series.
With the series taking a turn in its events, the journey of the young prince Bojji to become the strongest king in his own way gets exciting as the following episodes are released.

Episode 7 Recap
This episode starts with lady Miranjo using the elixir to resurrect someone in Daida’s body. As Miranjo chants a spell, Daida reacts and wakes up.
Meanwhile, after introducing themselves at Despa’s place, Kage explains why he and Bojji are looking for Despa.
As Despa tries to read Bebin’s letter, he understands Bojji is Bosse’s son. Despa then explains how his brother is jealous of his outstanding qualities.
As Kage asks about making Bojji stronger, Despa reveals that one can move forward with anything if one has courage.
He mentions that’s how Desha became a great king, along with his advice. Kage then requests to make Bojji strong, but Despa demands a payment. As Kage gives Despa various options, Despa finds a box of treasure and accepts to train Bojji.
They enter Despa’s house, and he tells Bojji to sit and stretch his hands out. Despa reveals he can sense things people can’t and checks Bojji’s hands. He finds it odd that Bojji has no strength at all that people usually have. Hearing this, Bojji is shaken and starts to leave.
Despa stops him and says he will make him stronger with Bojji’s skills somehow. The next day Bojji prepares breakfast. Seeing Bojji enjoy the meal, Kage and Despa have a bite. They find it so bad and wonder how Bojji ate it.
Later Despa reveals to Kage that Bojji is a child of giants, and due to their sturdy stomach, they can consume anything. Kage and Despa agree not to let Bojji cook anything. Afterward, Despa takes Bojji to a room to select a weapon that fits him.
Despa mentions how a weapon helps one discover themselves. He says he has a weapon in mind for Bojji and asks if he can spot it. Bojji goes through the weapons and checks if any weapon fits him. He then finds one, and Despa says to take it as it’s perfect for Bojji.
Despa mentions he will teach Bojji everything to which no one will match his strength. As weeks go by, Bojji is seen tired from his training, and Kage takes care of him. All he does after training is sleep off, and this repeats for days.
Kage asks Despa how training in secret helps someone. He replies that being alone is the spice of one’s success, Despa also tells Kage to cheer Bojji whenever he’s down. He states Kage will be surprised by Bojji soon enough.
Later Bojji is seen training every day, starting with studying and then practicing his dodging skills. He also helps with chores in the house as his routine task. As Kage is cleaning one day, he hears a big commotion. He rushes to the training room, thinking something happened to Bojji.
Despa opens the door and says everything is fine. Kage getting a peek into the room, gets stunned as Bojji is next to a split bolder. Back to the Bosse kingdom, Daida is seen walking to the throne. As Daida sits down, he states another son is sacrificed.
About Ousama Ranking
Ōsama Ranking (Ranking of Kings) is a Japanese comedy manga series by Sōsuke Tōka. It has been serialized online via Echoes’ user-submitted Manga Hack website since May 2017. An anime television series adaptation by Wit Studio premiered in October 2021.
The story centers around Bojji, a deaf, powerless prince who cannot even wield a children’s sword. As the firstborn son, he strives hard and dreams of becoming the world’s greatest king.
However, people mutter about him behind his back as “a good-for-nothing prince” and “no way he can be king.” Bojji is able to make his first-ever friend, Kage, a literal shadow on the ground who somehow understands Bojji well.
The story follows Bojji’s coming-of-age as he meets various people in his life, starting with his fateful encounter with Kage.
