Episode 6 Speculation and Discussion
So much is going on in Ousama Ranking, and the series just took an interesting turn of events. The episode had gruesome moments with Daida, but something tells me there’s more to the mirror’s plan.
Bojji and Kage are now facing the king of the underworld. What do you think the king will plan to do with them? Is this where Bojji will prove himself and become stronger?
There is something major going on with that place under the castle, and Apis might know something about it. The mysterious woman could be part of all the plans happening with Daida. It is exciting to see how the events will develop from here.
The series is now taking a turn in its events and is still set to give us an emotional journey of the young prince as Bojji develops his path to become the strongest king in his own way.

Episode 5 Recap
This episode starts with Bojji at the cliff of the Gates of Hell, thinking back on how he survived. As Bojji checks his bag, he gets the surprise of his life. Kage has been in his bag all this time. Both of them get emotional and laugh at each other’s state.
Kage then tells how he’s been saving him since the castle till this very moment. He reveals Bebin ordered him to escort Bojji and doesn’t know what Bebin’s true motives are. Realizing Domas did this, Bojji and Kage decide to take the path down to the pit.
Kage mentions that there’s someone who’ll make Bojji a mighty man. As they head down, they spot human skeletons and wonder what caused their death. Suddenly, poisonous gas springs up. Kage and Bojji try escaping but end up getting caught in it and get unconscious.
Two mysterious warriors appear as they lie unconscious. Afterward, Bojji and Kage are taken to a fortress in the underworld. In the fort, the king understands the cursed gas didn’t kill them as they are already cured. Waking them up, the king asks Bojji if he’s Boss’ son.
Meanwhile, Domas recalls how Daida ordered him to kill Bojji. Thinking Domas could be his right hand, Daida set the task to see if he’s capable of the role. As he tries to resolve what he just did, Domas laughs it out and goes on.
As Domas goes on, Hokuro approaches him and asks him about prince Bojji, and he tells him he’s gone. Hokuro looking at the Gates of Hell realizes Domas has killed Bojji, and he tries to stop Domas for his act. Hokuro ends up wounding Domas’ hand but gets killed.
Daida goes down the path the magic mirror mentioned and finds himself in front of a giant door. He then meets two grim reaper-like men and enters the room. As he enters, he finds out the place is filled with frozen preserved things. Daida then finds his father, Boss, kept frozen.
Questioning the magic mirror, Daida finds out that the Boss will be used to gain strength. The remains of Boss are taken for a ritual and are made into a phoenix. The phoenix is slaughtered, and a jewel of resurrection is retrieved from it.
This jewel is added to the blood from it and given to Daida to drink. The magic mirror mentions only by consuming the elixir will he gain Boss’ strength. Daida denies drinking it, but the reaper men try to stop him.
He attacks them, throws the elixir, and mentions that he’ll find his own strength to be the top in the rankings. Apis is seen going down the path under the castle, and he recalls the time he trained for king Boss in such a place.
In his recollection, a mysterious woman is watching him train and defeat a creature. Apis continues to proceed towards the place, and a frozen glimpse of the mysterious woman is shown.
About Ousama Ranking
Ōsama Ranking (Ranking of Kings) is a Japanese comedy manga series by Sōsuke Tōka. It has been serialized online via Echoes’ user-submitted Manga Hack website since May 2017. An anime television series adaptation by Wit Studio premiered in October 2021.
The story centers around Bojji, a deaf, powerless prince who cannot even wield a children’s sword. As the firstborn son, he strives hard and dreams of becoming the world’s greatest king.
However, people mutter about him behind his back as “a good-for-nothing prince” and “no way he can be king.” Bojji is able to make his first-ever friend, Kage, a literal shadow on the ground who somehow understands Bojji well.
The story follows Bojji’s coming-of-age as he meets various people in his life, starting with his fateful encounter with Kage.
