With the Bosse Kingdom in chaos, new events unfold in Ousama Ranking. Ouken’s story really hits me, considering how Desha and Despa had to bear up to keep their brother safe.
Miranjo is fixated on her desire of being by Bosse’s side constantly. What led Miranjo to turn to such diabolical acts? I feel the demon we saw before has something to do with the overall plot.
Bojji is impressive with his skill, but with Ouken’s immortality, will Bojji find a way to defeat him? Given the backstory of the Underworld King, there might be a connection between the demon and Ouken’s powers.

Episode 17 Recap
This episode starts with a story of the previous King of the Underworld, Satun. Satun researched on attaining immortality using the people of his kingdom. Satun had three children, finding a clue to extend life through baring children.
Desha inherited his father’s superpowers, Despa inherited little power, and Ouken only possessed great physical ability. As time passed, Satun was defeated by his three sons, with peace falling over the kingdom.
Sadly, Ouken gained immortality when he turned twenty-five, and he was concerned about losing his humanity.
Later, only to find Ouken gone to the dark side, making Desha keep him captive as a prisoner. Coming to the present time, Miranjo summons Ouken to protect her.
Ouken breaks free from Despa and the Captain and heads towards Miranjo.
Meanwhile, Bojji and Kage find Apis and gets the whole plot of Miranjo wanting to remain untroubled with King Bosse. Apis realizes Bojji has gained confidence and tells him to save the kingdom.
Domas and Hokuro take care of the underworld gateway by burning it. As Bojji and Kage plan what to do about Miranjo and Bosse, Ouken crosses their path. At the same time, Zokku tries to provoke Miranjo on her actual intentions.
Ouken makes an appearance that makes Zokku concerned for his life. Bojji and Kage witness the commotion from the side and find the situation awful. When Ouken tries to attack Zokku, he uses Black as a shield, who gets killed.
Zokku runs away, but Bojji intercepts him in his path. Bojji then ties Zokku up and faces Ouken.
As Bojji and Ouken get into a fight, Ouken senses Bojji’s skills and starts worrying if he can defeat the boy. When Bojji tries to attack Ouken’s vital spots, the attacks don’t seem to work.
Kage finds out from the mirror that Ouken is immortal and tells Bojji they should retreat.
Bojji is determined to defeat Ouken, making Miranjo think he’s become overconfident. Kage confidently says Bojji is looking out for others since Ouken will destroy everyone.
With those words, Miranjo gets a memory of her kind mother. As Kage tries to help Bojji out, he asks the mirror if there’s a way to defeat Ouken.
Over that, he wonders how the mirror knows of Ouken’s immortality and questions its identity. Kage finds out the mirror is Miranjo and is shocked by the fact.
